I just got suckered into the same scam by a White DynaLab vab with two guys saying that they overstocked and "had to get rid of them". I am such an idiot as well, especially after reading the other reviews. I agree, the bass is decent. There is very little midrange. And the highs seem artificial. Please don't buy them.

Man did I fall for that scam. Atleast i got them down to 200 dollars for a pair. I checked them out on my system and I was Severely disappointed. I'm telling If I see that van again. The Sound Sucks all the way around. I'm extremely dissapointed. Don't buy from these guys.

I purchased 2 pairs of these speakers for $250 ($62.50 Each)
I currently have Dynaudio Contuer 2.8's and although they don't sound nearly as good as those, they do sound better than any speakers I have heard for $60.00, I listened to them side by side with my Snell LCR-500's and they sounded better, so If you can get a good deal than don't hesitate, but I wouldn't spend more than $250.00 / pr.

I too was taken by these con artists. These guys approached my friend and I as we walked out of a home improvement store here in Columbus. They told us that they had just made a delivery to a danceclub and that they had several extra speakers in the back of their van. They wanted like $800 (U.S. Dollars for them) I told them I was a college student and couldn't afford to spend that kind of money on some speakers I knew nothing about. Of course they showed me the specifications on the speakers and then asked me what I would be willing to pay for the speakers. I ended up talking them down from $800 down to $300. I still feel cheated however the speakers aren't so bad if you want to use them for something other than high-fidelity stereo systems. I tested them against my home theater speakers and they sound terrible compared to my NHT's. The bass is decent but the speakers are definitely not something that I am happy to say I have purchased. Don't purchase them! This is a very unprofessional business tactic and, if I see them again I will surely let them know what I think of them!

I'm sorry to say that I too am a victim of this scam. Two guys from a van in a parking lot offered me these speakers claiming they were extras from a delivery. The guys were able to produce an ad showing the value to be around $1200 and also were willing to give a receipt. It's too bad I gave them $200 for the speakers instead of a black eye like these guys should of got. What kind of business has a marketing plan that requires thier salesman to go around selling speakers out of a van like common thugs?
