Sales Tactics

These guys approached me in a white van at a gas station. I haven't heard these speakers but their gestapo sales tactics made me run away. Do these guys just drive around to gas stations and try to sell their speakers?

Strength:

I have to admit, these con artists are good at marketing! Very slick talkers in a white Mercedes Van licence VL-FZ-??
Yesterday they were in Rotterdam. Where are they today?

Weakness:

Fortunately for me I had never heard of the brand 'Dynalabs'

Same story: Two coloured clean-shaven guys in a Mercedes minivan. They had an order for 16 speakers, they had 'accidentally' picked up 20 speakers, so there were "4 speakers that their boss did not need to know about."
They had the delivery note to prove it.

I had a look at the boxes, it said: Dynalabs - Made in the USA.
Luckily, I had never heard of the brand and told them they should try their luck somewhere else.

And I am glad I did ! Sorry for all you that did buy them.

:(

They were built

What can I say, No No No No No No No No, I think you get the picture, there is nothing good about these speakers, except the guy in the van helped me lift them into my car. Paid £150 for speakers claimed to be worth £1800 (showed ad from Hi Fi mag)

I get a better sound from my arse (ass) when I've got dihorea.

For the £1800 you could get a pair of mindblowingly good speakers, these are not them. For £150 you could get a pair of speakers that you could listen to comfortabley, sadly these are also not them.

I managed to offload them in a local paper for the same as what I paid. I feel a bit guilty and sorry for the bloke who I sold them to (unless he is completely deaf and just wants a black box to put in the corner for a plant to sit on).

Apparently if you take the subs out and box them up, you can shove them in the boot (trunk for all you american readers) and get some okay levels of bass.

It seems their latest scam is using the auctions. They put up several at very high prices like over $800/pair then while those are still runnning put some up at $250/pair or less so people will think those are a great deal. I almost feel into the trap but then I saw the reviews here. I am glad a site like this exists!

Don't pay any attention to these dorks who are praising the product. It is a complete scam.

If it was a quality product:
1) The sellers wouldn't need to lie in order to sell the speakers.
2) They would be for sale in retail outlets.
3) They would have a warranty address that actually exists.

The dorks who are actually giving a high rating obviously can't tell the different between a $50 and $2500 set of speakers, or work for the company. Be afraid......be very very afraid!!!!

If you do go ahead and purchase these dodgy speakers. Make sure you get the name and address of the seller (verify it from driver's license). Don't pay any more than $100 and yes they will sell them to you for this price (they are worthless afterall!). Listen to the speakers before the money back guarantee expires. After you listen to the speakers and feel completely ripped off, return them immediately.

If for some reason you can't get your money back. Visit the house of the seller at 3am in the morning and throw the speakers through their bedroom window.

A friend of mine purchased an RCA Satellite system out of the back of a van. Turns outs the dish was real, but the receiver was a VCR rewinder! The moral of the story is, if it's too good to be true it probably is and if it's out of the back of a van, move on...

Just wanted to say that my father in law just bought 4 of these speakers from some guy in a van who "cut him a deal" and he swears by them. He wanted me to look up some stats on his new purchase. Once I pass along the reviews I've been reading, I'll guess he'll do his swearing a little differently.

I don't think these speakers are that bad, I've compared them to my JBL MR38 speakers and the Dynalab speakers seems to be clearer at higher volumes. Even though they have similar specs. So I guess I have to use it abit and see..

The horrible sound they produce.

DO NOT BUY DYNALAB OR OMNI AUDIO.
THE SPEAKERS ARE COMPLETE JUNK.

Same story, two guys and a white van full of possibly the worst speakers ever produced. The speakers are certainly worth less than the low-grade wooden boxes they're mounted in. Anything over $10.00 would be too much for these.

I was able to get a full refund, which is really because of the law, not company policy. I'm not sure of the specifics but as I recall when people use such deceitful sales tactics that, by law, the buyer is entitled to a full refund if the goods are returned within a few days. This is the only reason I believe this company would ever return any money to anyone.

If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably not.
