the best

Weakness:

too many people think its a scam

The speakers sold out of these trucks now a days are ten times better than the ones 27 years ago !! They just get better and better. Especially when a kid buys them because his dad still has a pair in the living room he bought ten years before off some guy in a van. This is life in America ! Free enterprise ! The people who buy these not just buy the speakers they get the whole experience. Take it however you want but some people go through their whole day not speaking to anyone ! The experience of buying something like this they know is a little dangerous but they do it anyway. They stop and listen. They also get their moneys worth when that sales guy sitting their gives them their show ! Its just like paying to see a movie ! Some suck but you go anyway ! just sit back and enjoy the ride this isn't the only thing you've been scammed on people life is one big scam so lighten up ! Enjoy it and be thankful that is all that happened ! Theres alot more ugliness and deceptiveness being done to you everyday which you don't even relize !!!So pull those panties to the side and take the ride!

Strength:

probably make good storage crates.

Weakness:

greed, too smart for my own good.

Haven't even listened to these things yet, but I just wanted to post that I got scammed a few hours ago. Unfortunately, my brother wasn't home when I called him, because when he called my back, he looked the speakers up on the internet. Anyway here I am, one of the bunch. Same story as the last guy who posted. I was spotted because of the Mustage GT I was driving. I actually paid $400, but I lied about my bank account and gave them $200 cash and $200 on a check. That check is now canceled. I new it was shady, but the details (invoice, product catalog) got me. Luckily, I knew I was taking a gamble, so I just lost. I try to think of it as a bad night at the casinos or speeding ticket. O'well. I wish I could say they are going to get caught, but it is very unlikely. From the sound of it, this is a huge operation. Spread the word.

Put West Palm Beach, FL on the list.

Strength:

The box they were made out of....

Weakness:

The fact that these are a waste of cash.

I bought these a few months ago and then found this site after the fact. They've now stopped me three times...the second time I just called the cops and let them know the license number of the jokers pulling this scam. The third time I actually sat and talked with them for about 10 minutes. They confirmed everything that the gentleman from Washington said. They claimed that they pay close to $200 for eight speakers AND the car they rent and that they sell them to suckers everyday. If you happen to live in Austin you have a decent chance of getting stopped by these clowns again near the Chevron station at the corner of I35 and Oltorf. But, beware that they always travel in packs of three so that one guy can't get jumped.

Hey People
Listen!
The same bu**sh*t with the SAME f***ing sh*t boss story and the exactly SAME sh*t speakers happens IN EUROPE too.........
But at least I got contact to the company delivering their "agents" ....... calls itself LDI (Landing Distributor Inc. !?!) ....and I was even given the right to return them during the first 7 days, so I have a chance to get rid off them bricks....hope so in any case.
But unfortunately most people will be too late to return that sh*t....
At least I got my lesson out of this story.....

Strength:

They made me money for 1 day

Weakness:

Brought up Catholic... couldn't rip people off

Just a few more points on the people selling those speakers...

1. It is a scam that requires the buyer to be a bit dishonest. Come on, the whole "we have extras" scam is designed for people that want to profit from taking advantage of someone else's mistakes. If you bought these things, you probably learned a lesson. Hopefully, it wasn't an expensive one.

2. If you're in the scam, there's not a real future there. Though I probably don't know what the fu%k I'm talking about, I did hang around with some of you guys in the mid 80s. Tragic thing is I saw what years of the life did to you. It was a sick fuc&ing moment in my life when I bumped into a good friend (the guy I introduced to A Sound), as he was trying to scam me. He was in robotic mode and just went in for the kill because I looked like a target. He was hardened after years of hard-partying and moving accross the country. When we finally sat down and caught up, it was pretty apparent that he hadn't really developed any job skills, education, etc. in all of his time doing this. I was essentially talking with a 17 year old kid that should've come accross as someone in his mid twenties. This guy was previously a bright M-F. Meanwhile, I had done the military thing, gone to school, landed the Phat tech jobs, done the IPO thing (BTW, this is the real SCAM that people are getting burned from), etc. My buddy continued to sell speakers out of a van. I'm not saying I've lead the great life, but the life of these kids is sort of tragic.

Unfortunately, the lure of easy money at a young age is enough to entice a lot of kids along this path. If you're reading this and you're peddling these things, you're basically in a cult. Picture yourself 10 years from now trying to get a job... What skills do you have? You haven't stayed in one place long enough to take a class or do anything to make it easier to get a job. Meanwhile, as&wipes like me that couldn't bear to rip people off are earning millions from sometimes foolish investors... go figure.

The flame previously burnt

Weakness:

none at the moment

I actually scammed their ass, they tried to charge me 500 dollars for 4, but in the long run, i got 4 for 150 dollars, the speakers are not really that bad especially for 37 dollars a piece. I was just blown and in the mood for talking sh*t and i got a good deal, so the lesson here is that you can probably buy a speaker for 10 dollars if you know what to say.
