This product is a scam. Beware of guys driving around in vans selling "warehouse surplus" that they want to keep out of the watchful eyes of their boss. Apparently this is a widespread scam that will work on anyone who believes his luck is too good to be true. Don't buy speakers from criminals. |

Pissed off buyer
Strength:
none
Weakness:
sound is muffled I was approached by a hispanic male at a bank parking lot in a white Ford Explorer by the name of Fernando asking if I wanted to purchase some speakers. First I said no, and he asked at least look at them. Fernando said, he was from Austin Tx and that he was delivering some spekers that someone had ordered, but that the warehouse had made a mistake and gave him three pairs instead of one pair and wanted to make some money on the mistake that was made. He showed me pamplet of the speaker which looked authentic. Picture of speaker, characteristics of the speaker and price of 895.00 dollars per speaker, and an invoice of the mistake which looked real. I asked for his drivers licences, place of work where I could reach him and phone number. All was boguss except for his drivers licence number which I was able to look at long enough to get and write down the info on it. |

Oh My God... I guess I just got ripped too, I havent even opened the boxes yet... $220 for a pair, 2 guys in a white van, had to sell them because their shipment was doubled by "mistake", and they said that they might have to get a hotel room or something to store the others in before they got back to work! holy sh!t, that sucks. |

AHHHH! I got ripped off today. Exact same story but it sounded so good. 3 guys in a White Exhibition -- said they got 8 instead of 4 and needed to get rid of them while they could before they took them to their boss. The fact that all three were in the car should have tipped me off.... |

i can test out my new rifle next time they come to town
Weakness:
i could of spent my money on many other things same ol' story. after trying to sell them on ebay and being very dissapionted I decided to do a little research. I was really shocked to see that someone would go through all the trouble to scam people. I mean come on company truck, shirts, warranties, brand spankin new in the box and in the plastic. If anybody can put these guys out, I'll do what ever I can. I work for the Fort Worth Detective Agency, and if I can put something together I might be able stop their little scam, or I should say big scam. I paid $500.00 for 2 pairs. I read that putting a 3-way croos over in them makes them usable so I'll try that. It feels a little better knowing that I'm not the only one, but they will get there's. |

I heard it makes a nice end table.
Weakness:
expensive paperweight Just got scammed earlier today at a gas station in Plano, TX. 2 gen-x guys in a White Van. Same story about receiving too many speakers. Almost walked away especially because the guys were obviously dishonest stealing from their boss. Must have been a combination of slick salespitch or myself extremely gullible. It's pretty funny actually, except I usually avoid to admit when I got taken. Didn't even want to purchase speakers. Now I just need to get rid of them. Unfortunately bought the lies about professional quality and amplifier. I even asked "now what brand are they again?" "Acoustic" (never heard of it) One of the guys "Brett" claimed to be from Florida. I didn't think to get the license plate. They are probably going to read this later as they laugh all the way to the bank. To other victims, I feel your pain. |
