Hi guys! I just wanted everyone to check out this month's issue of Home Theater magazine. They have an informative and hilarious article on this scam. They actually purchased a pair of these type of speakers right outside their corporate office(yup,in the parking lot...LOL) so they could listen to these horrible things and to also rip open the cabinet to see what was inside. They don't have a crossover so all of the drivers are receiving a full range signal.

Just make sure to pick up this month's issue. Please use some common sense when you're approached by these scam artists.I've been approached several times over the past 18 months and I just laugh in their face. I was approached in front of my local post office and another time as I was walking to my car in the Home Depot parking lot. It REALLY doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that these things are true crap.

What a scam. Walking home and van pulls up with 2 american dudes (base ball caps the lot) claiming an over order has occured. The thought of me being "the chosen one...." leaps into action and i'm fasf off to the Bank to get myself a deal that will make me the envy of the town. Either that or a prat. Great scam, crap product. Just cannot off load them anywhere cause every else in Cambridge has a Pair. And they are huge so you cant even hide them in the bin.

Damn I fell for this stupid scam. I am not as pissed as some of you other guys though. They arent that bad. I bought them in Houston outside a mall. A white dude saying the same story. Too many speakers, etc. Paid a $100 and $70 in Stucture clothes I had just bought.

Anyways these two guys came up to me in a Guess what White van license plate U61862 Florida and they told the same story... Anyways I just wanted to say that hopefully I will find a use for them and that Orlando Fl is another place for this to happen.... But If I see them I am going to get them back.. For sure!

Well I think that I just got ripped off on my way to work.. Same story as all of you, two white guys, one playing good cop one playing bad cop.. Told me that I can sell them on e-bay for a lot of money and that the only reason that they are going to sell them to me is because they were given too many by some place that their boss sent them to pick them up. So they offer me the speakers for $350.00 and I tell them that that is way too much and talk them down to 100 each and they give in saying that they are in a hurry to meet their boss at windsor park mall and still need to find a place to store the rest of the speakers for the weekend so I fell for the scam.. Oh well me and a friend are going back tomorrow to the place that I bought them in hopes of being approached again by the same two losers only this time I am going to distract them while he spray paints the side of their Ford Explorer with some creative words! Then we will commense with the ass kicking.. Watch out for these guys they are smooth talkers anw will take your money.. I got lucky because I only bought 1 speaker, because that is all that I needed, so I guess all in all I did not get ripped off too bad.. However I am only 19 and I have learned a lesson that will last me for the rest of my life : DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING OFF THE STREETS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR... well, i just got ripped off less than 30 min ago. i have never seen anything like this before, other than some dude in the back of a van at a WalMart in Panama City, FL. other than that, i had just moved to Orlando and just got my first paycheck today and i had nothing left to do with it, $200 bucks was all i gave up for this, i had this whole flyer brochure, and it was all laminated and the two guys were trying to sell these things because they were for a company locally that sold these speakers for a local club and that they were runners and had to get rid of them to make some money, guys took time in talking to me about how they can sell these on e-bay for bookoos of money and that i should hit em back up after i sell it online, supposively these things were 'professional quality' speakers, with the packaging still new...quite the scam, for $200 at least i have some quad i can use in my car or home speaker system for the living room, but i was scammed....they sound decent for what i paid for them, i guess. but if you live in the UCF area, Orlando FL ...two guys driving around in a Yukon, black young, white boyz, looking to get rid of speakers because "their manager overordered and paid for them already" and they want to get what they can for them...and they're good speakers, just pull out a bat and beat the everloving hell out of them for me.....

Oh well, i bought a pair of 9901 loud speakers for 350 dollers today and im am kicking my self. The deal is i am getting married in two months in my back yard, and i have a pair of 1985 cerwin-vega d-9's that will knock the air conditioner of your house, i was going to put them on my roof and have a bad ass wedding party. Then homeboy in the jeep goes up to my fiance and tells her his stupid story, she calls me and with out looking at them i talked him down to 350, oh goodie,. Do not buy these speakers or any other they are no good. Audio is my life, i know good sound, for all those poeple that say the speakers are loud, loud doesnt mean anything. The best way to tell if they are of sound quality, is if the tweeter at full volume does not peirce your ear. And to those that wrote on this page laughing that they ripped us off, that did not bother me at all because somday, it might not be soon YOU will get what you diserve, and thank you for being the way you are it makes us feel better about ourselves looser get a real job.

Looks like the old proverb -- what goes around, comes around -- has come to pass. You see our little friends pulled their free speaker scam on the wrong person. Seems that the son of an extremely-connected father (aifaM esenihC), was scammed by two small-time knuckleheads in San Fransisco, California... much like all of you were, coincidentally. Funny thing is -- cell phones are a wonderful invention. Anyway, the son just walks back from an ATM machine, and while shoving five $100 bills(imagine that) into his billfold, he is approached by two characters, about his age, offering him free quality speakers. What the two didn't know about this broken-English-speaking asian, is that he had a loaded, chrome-plated, .44 caliber, snub-nosed, Smith&Wesson
tucked inside his black jacket. As the two played out their humurous little act for our hero, the son became more and more restless with all the blundered attempts at his money. Finally, he just asked, "How much money are you guys bringing in with this thing." Unfortunately for our two genius-criminals, they continued on as if they didn't understand what the son was implying. To make a long story short, my friend just wanted to find out who sent them(the main-idiot), but cheech and chong didn't budge. Too bad... Whenever you see a milk carton, look at the pictures, and if they look familiar, remember that even organized slanimirC hate swindlers, because they truly belong at the bottom of the criminal food chain. x)
