Strength:
Warmth, size & flexibility, ease to use terminated or unterminated, price-to-performance ratio.
Weakness:
None so far. I am not a wire connoisseur, but having read tons of reviews, I was seeking a wire that would complement my system while warming up some of its brightness, all at a reasonable price. I got these for 2.50/ foot unterminated. Because they are solid core wires, they are easy to use without spade or plugs -- in fact they are probably better this way, since you get a close connection. Strength:
Strong bass, clarity, detail, smooth mids and highs
Weakness:
Slightly toward the dark side of neutral I purchased a 6-foot pair of Type 4 with spade termination from Audio Advisor. This is solid core wire and as such sounds different than the multistrand stuff so many are used to. Similar Products Used: Monster, Acoustic Research |

I owned a true bi-wired pair of these cables for 2 years. For the money, they're quite impressive. They don't sound anything like what I have now, or any high priced audiophile quality cables, but being nealy as cheap as a pair of Radio Shack cables, they're a steal. Neutral sounding, solid bass(not boom), and good imaging. I now have a pair of bi-wired Straight Wire Duet cables, which cost over 10 times as much, but I wouldn't say that they're 10 times better. |

I've got a set of AudioQuest Type 4+ speaker wires, and they're WONDERFUL! I previously had the Type 2's. The 4's are a MUCH better beast. I'm VERY impressed with the crispness and quality of sound that I'm getting with this. If you are looking for some great wire, do yourself a favor and give this stuff a listen! |

Strength:
Great detail, rich and tight bass, full imaging with depth
Weakness:
None This speaker cable is great. It works very fine with my budget system of Technics CD player, NAD integrated amp and Tannoy speakers. I use the Type 4 with bare wire connection (no termination). It gives great detail, rich and tight bass, and full imaging with depth. I tried DH Labs T-14, but T-14 didn't give the rich bass and full imaging with depth that Type 4 does. So, I decided to keep the Type 4. Similar Products Used: Monster, DH Labs T-14 |

Strength:
Price, build, sound
Weakness:
none I am really happy with these cables. I have them between my Denon 2700, and a pair of Polk RT55's and a Polk CS400 center channel speaker. In particular, acoustic music is enhanced with these cables in place. Similar Products Used: Too many |

Strength:
Great overall sound and value. For the money this cable cant be beat. It is a great step up from the monster cable that I was using. The bass is much more tight and well defined. Overall sound quality has been improved greatly, espically after the break in period Similar Products Used: Monster Cable XP |

Strength:
Clear highs, good mid range response, tight bass
Weakness:
NO LOW BASS CAN GET THROUGH THESE WIRES >_< Okay, to test how good these speakers wires are, I hook my pairs of PSB 6Ts to my amp. One speaker used the radio shack wire, and another used AudioQuest type 4+. I truned the blance nob from right to left, listened back and forth. Similar Products Used: Radio Shack 14 AWG |
