Strength:

strong, tight bass, crisp highs, and great vocal clarity

Weakness:

None

Before using these cables I was just using standard copper wire and I didn't think more expensive wire would make much of a difference. But after a while I just wanted to find out if high quality wires would improve the sound. So I went out and got some Type 4 ($45 for 20ft) and hooked it up and was amazed by how much better it sounded. Bass was strong and defined, midrange was clearer and the highs smoothed out considerably. Sound got even beter after breaking in. Would definetly recommend to anyone looking for a step up from their current wire.

Strength:

Not that expensive. Open and detailed sound.

Weakness:

umm?

These cables are great. Got mine from Audioadvisor.com for 99 dollars with banana terminations. They sound open and detailed and uncompressed. The bass is tighter and defined. The mid-range is cleaner and clearer with more depth and focus. These are excellent cables.

Strength:

Deep rich bass, extremely clear dialogue in music/HT

Have these cables hooked up to my AT 350THX speakers and it sounds incredible. The imaging is much better than my previous cheap speaker cable. For the price, these cables are quality and can't be beat.

Weakness:

Overall is very bright, even a red-black type cable better than this AQ 4

AQ 4 is of no good. The overall sound is very bright, no bass at all, even though I use a mcintosh amp cannot cure the problem. I used this cable for more then 3 years so that I think the cable have completely burned-in.

However, after I change to a ortopon 6n cable ( purity up to 99.9999% pure copper), every thing became fine.

If you want to buy this cable, I suggest you go to some electric shop to buy some red-black ones

Strength:

Great Clarity, tight bass, build, price.

Weakness:

None yet

Just bought it 3 hours ago...and what difference in sound it has made compares to my Monster Cable speaker wire. I switch the 2 cables back and forth to compare the sound. The AQ type 4+ is a sure winner. It makes the music more lively, more clear and the bass is more tight than before. I can feel the difference when i first listen to it. Can't wait till it's propery burn-in. Maybe, there are other cable than can do the same or perform better..but for now...these are great!!!!
