Strength:

Versatile inputs, good color reproduction

Weakness:

Locks into Full mode on progressive sources

I auditioned both the Pioneer and Toshiba 56 and there were virtualy no differences. I liked the Pioneer due to it's more flexable HD inputs, 2 Component and 1 vga as I use the RCA DTC 100 HD satellite as my primary source. The pioneer looks great with line doubled NTSC video out of the dtc 100 but really wakes up with a HD source. Colors burst off the screen and detail is, well. like looking out the window. I am very plesed with this set, but do yourself a favor, get the set ISF calibrated by a reputable dealer. The guys at London Audio are the best and they really made this set rock.
