Strength:
sound excellent.
Weakness:
bass a little boomy, but manageble i tried out these speakers today at my dealer and am almost certainly going to get them, i've been shopping for about 2 weeks, and i think i'm done. they're cheap and let me spend more now on my reciever (thinking bout the yamaha rx-v496) so i can get a pair of monitor 7's + pdr 10 + one of their center speakers....i'm hooked. i think for the little money that i'm paying they're definitely a bargain. i don't give them 5's because i haven't listed to every comparable speaker (nht's ) but they're really, really worth an audition if you're looking for a speaker in general. DON't be put off by their smallish size. Similar Products Used: atom, phantom from paradigm and a bunch of other stuff |

Strength:
Nice output for size and price, sound good for music and home theater
Weakness:
None that I have noticed These speakers rival my family's floor standing speakers at about 1/2 the cost. Granted, they don't have the bass of the bigger speakers, but they'll fit anywhere. I have them hooked to my receiver, a Sony STR-DB930. The highest out of 10 on the volume knob I can handle is about 3. I've had it to about 3.5 with not an ounce of distortion. I almost bought the Bose 301's until I heard that Titan's. For a bookshelf speaker, they are the best I have ever heard. If you want alot of bass, go get a subwoofer and let these beauties do their job which is be good midrange speakers. You can't beat them for the price. Similar Products Used: first set of speakers |

Strength:
Very good all-around sound for mid-range home stereo system
Weakness:
Low end a little muddy at times All in all, I found these speakers to be the best bang for the buck, great for almost any home theatre application. I used these in a studio alongside a pair on Yamaha NS-10s and Alesis Monitor Ones to see how mixes would sound on an 'average' home speaker, and was quite surprised at the performance considering they were not designed for professional studio monitoring. I did, however, find them to be a little muddy in the low range with most compact disks that I played through them through a variety of power amps. Aside from that, fantastic units! Strength:
Tremendous sound DESPITE size
Weakness:
None I just upgraded my speakers today from the speakers that came with the Kenwood HTB-503 package. I chose the Paradigm Titans, CC-170, and PDR-12 sub. I will confine this review to the Titans... ENORMOUS improvement over the cheap speakers I had. I can finally hear that mid to low range that I was missing with music, and during the hours I have been listening to them today they have continued to improve. Strength:
-phenomenal clarity for midrange and highs
Weakness:
none at this price point I am a college student and this is my first real step into audio. I have the titans as fronts paired with the paradigm cc-170 center (see my review for that as well) and atoms for rears. I am running them through a Denon AVR-1700 receiver which I got for only $240 on ubid. My only previous experience with speakers was about 5 years with the bose 301's, which sounded decent at the time but now I definitely hear all I was missing in the midrange. You'll still want a sub for deep bass though, a speaker this small can't break the laws of physics. I agree with all the other rave reviews on this site (close to 100 satisfied owners can't be wrong!) and would encourage anyone looking for a set of budget fronts to definitely consider these. I got great service and a competitive price from Omer of ozenterprises.net, I would highly recommend you give him a call or email if you want friendly Canadian interaction and quick delivery!
