Look great and sound good enough for my small apartment.

The worst sales pitch I have ever heard! Outragous price and no information on the speakers or company to be found!

First off I'm not very picky when it comes to clarity and "proper sound". I think these speakers sound good even though I have read some alarming things about the quality of materials and comstrustion in other peoples reviews.
My problem is with the horrid way in which these speakers are pushed onto the consumer. I went into international stereo intending to buy a DVD player, somehow the "nuance rep" got involved and put me through the whole spiel. I made it clear that I wasn't interested in his damn speakers and the prick got pissed off! Like I was wasting HIS time! The only reason I bought the speakers is he finally threw in a reciver and DVD.
In all I give the speakers a thumbs up in sound quality for the average joe, but couldn't possibly recomend paying some a##hole "rep" 10 times what there worth!
P.S. where the hell is some info on Nuance? (website,ect.)

Not a BAD center channel speaker, if you don't pay much for it.

Sales Reps are the lowest common denominator of people. Honestly, the guy that sold me the speaker is the biggest a$$hole I have ever met. DON'T go to international stereo... but anyway, about the speaker. Its not bad, but I bought a floor model that is kinda ratched looking for 200 bucks Canadian. I mean you can't really complain about that, but unless you get an EXTEREMELY cheap deal on nuance, don't get them, their quality just isn't up to par with the ungodly price.

International Stereo, I think the biggest pusher of these speakers, is nothing more than a bunch of slope headed jerks that make outrageous claims to get you to buy stuff. Nuance makes FAIR stuff in my opinion, but not anything of real quality- well, at least not compared to the price. The real selling feature for me was the fact that I could put my fist through it and take it back, which I think I might do just for kicks, since the losers at International might not appreciate it too much. The Center channel speaker I have seems to crackle a BIT at high volumes, but thats okay because the volume is so high at that level its not pleasant.
oh- and one more thing- DOES ANYONE know where there is a website for these speakers?
bottom line- don't buy them unless you can pull a fast one and get them dirt cheap.

Excelent range without distortion

Price - started at $3000 negotiated down.

Other than price - if you paid list- would I complain. Didn't care for the sales rep - but that's the store, not Nuance. Speakers perform great. Can't overdrive them. Great range, very brilliant sound.
Just got 5 this fall, looking for the sub-woofer now.

Warranty, trade up program most of all sound.

Sales pitch

I don't really know how to start this review, seeing as though to review Nuance speakers on this site, you either have to give them a 5 star or 1 star rating. I purchased a Nuance system through a reputable store in town here and am very impressed.

No, i didn't fall for the sales pitch, i even listened to my own cd's. Yes it does make me wonder how they can offer such a good warranty, and trade up program. (do remember though, cars never used to come with warranties, but nowadays, you can get up to 10 years/100000km warranties.)

The salesman I dealt with, his name was Chris, was an excellent, no pressure salesman, who went out of my way to get me what I wanted. I told him I didn't want powered towers, just a good sounding system, and that is exactly what I got. I also plan on trading in my fronts for larger ones.

Overall, I am very impressed with my speakers, and enjoy them greatly. I am not a Nuance salesperson or work in the audio industry at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a good old Canadian built product.

I do wish however that people would just stop bashing Nuance, jealousy is a terrible thing.

Crisp highs, clear mids, beuatiful lows. Superb spacial sound even without Q sound.

Wow, i'm one happy camper, i just traded up my pair of star2m's for a set of Spatial Grand Elx, Dl's, and a Star Grand Centre. I'v been looking for something like this for 2 years now since i heard Klarity speakers. I'm hoping Nuance will make a brand of speakers for car audio because i would be one happy camper going on a camping trip listening to Nuance. I actually like comming home to these things, i know that sounds corny but listening to perfect acustinc sound lets me relax. All i have to say is save your self the hassle, Nuance will blow anything you listen to out of the water. WOW, i cant emphasize that word enough.


Oh, true story, my Nuance are in the basement, my neighbour can tell what song im playing: across the street in his homes garage.

If you have any intelligence go to a dealer and try these things out, then you'll be amazed. Dont take my word for it , just try it out.

Excellent speaker with great sound when listening to all types of music. When you spend more for speakers you don't get any more than these speakers for quality.
