I have the KLF-20's and the C7 center hooked into my Denon AVR-3801 and this system simply rocks. These speakers are throaty and barely let my KSW-12 sub do any work! A couple of people have cited poor power handling. These individuals have reported that they have damaged the speakers using only 100 amps or similar while the speakers are rated 200RMS continuous.

Well, DUH!

Weaker amps are more likely to damage your speakers. You guys didn't "bottom" the speaker drivers. Especially the guy saying he blew the horn tweeter. It didn't bottom because of your wattage. I'll tell you what happened. You drove your little amp to clip. Uh-hu. When you run your amp at clipping levels, which can be at lower settings than you might think, you're killing your speaker.

I put 250RMS into each of my -20s for long stretches of time. My amps have big-assed capacitors and power supplies. I can run about 65% of my available volume range before I start to get a little amp clipping. (I used earplugs to test). Even at 55% it's too loud for anyone to enjoy. It literally hurts. Of course, I'm in a pretty small apartment.
