Strength:

good at casual listening volumes, good modern design

Weakness:

forget the side subwoofers it gives bass just like you have equalizer in your system

good if you listen not loud, just do not put the volume more than 40 degrees high or else you dont get what it is design for

Strength:

able to listen to any type of music. deep bass wé 10" woofers

Weakness:

adjustable tweeter

I was suprised at first how those speakers could deliver a very good sound with any type of music. I had klipsh sf-2
wich i've melted the woofer while listening to hard rock music.. which i wasn't able to do with the jame x-treme series. X-TREMely satisfy of the product.

Strength:

They play VERY well and they are soooo cool!

Weakness:

Mmmm, none what-so-ever!

I just recieved my speakers today and I was a bit afraid that they would have way to much bass and that they could only play like techno-music but surprice, they sound so great I couldn't believe my ears! If you like music (loud or not so loud) and a great design go for it...

Strength:

They play loud....

Weakness:

...but they do it BAD!

I listened to the Jamo x23m 8 at a friends place...
It was a dissapointment for both of us. Now he's put them back in their boxes and I hve never seen them since. They are so sharp, the cut my brain in half.... And even though there's a 8" sub built in the bass was crap to....
And when I heard the price.... DONT'T BUY!!!

Strength:

Very good frequency span and very good resolution; it's been fun listening through my CD's to find details I did not hear before... At high volume these speakers deliver an impressive sound picture and with such ease!

Weakness:

When playing very low, the speakers two midrange units become somewhat dominant. Also, these speakers need a fairly powerfull amplifier; when I first heard these speakers, they were hooked up to a fairly cheap gizmo and did not sound good at all.

Impressive, and a lot for the money, although the impressiveness fades when playing very low.

Powerfull, Awesome design, Well Worth the money spent!!

Weakness:

NONE!!!

I have two pairs of X3M 8" connected to a Yamaha RV-2095. It is the most amazing sound. They handle all the power my amp throws at them!!!! Will never look back.

Strength:

Playes very deep and very nice very loud.

Weakness:

You MUST place them in the cornes of the room. Your are a pretty idiot if yo don't. You get a extreme boost on low freq.

Deep and loud bass without excursion.

Strength:

Extravagant look, good bass, state of the art cable connectors

Weakness:

A little weak on the mid range and treble compared to Classic 10

I listened to a pair of these speakers at the shop today along with a pair of the good-old Classic 10.

Although the x3m appears to be a much better one, you decide other wise when you listen to both of them and compare.

The additional bass boost on the sides sure streghtens the low frequency performance, however now that active subwoofers are a part of our systems, that is not much of an additional asset in my opinion. If it was only for stereo and not HT with the extra .1 channel I might have said otherwise.

Still a very good choice though I would rather prefer the Classic series for a better price-performance ratio, especially -as I already said- for HT

Hey!

Just gonna make one thing clear, if you like hardcore/techno.. buy these speakers!

But i also listen to dire straits and they works fine for that too....

A little bit expensive... but you get what you pay for.
