Yup, been scammed according to your other reviews! Only I don't feel to bad, only $100.00 for 2 MTS Towers. I knew something was fishy so said $50 ea. It was late Friday and I guess these 2 NUTS in the white van just wanted to get home. I've since run accross similar vans selling the same. This scam is HUGE! So far nothing blown other than my EGO! Speakers sound decent, my neighbor wants me to open the speakers up and see what's inside, he's a cop and already knew about this. Doesn't sound illegal other than maybe false advertising? Only thing that bothers me is that if I
were to put all the guys selling this stuff together in a
huge group, they would all fit right in with each other,
same looks, dress, hair style, skin color, tats etc. Need I say more?! I hope we dummies aren't supporting the A---- Nation?! I got what I paid for!

According to the rest of the reviews, I got screwed. I just got home from buying them, didn't get more than 20 minutes to listen to them, but from what I read from the rest of the reviews, I can give everyone a good piece of advice: STAY AWAY FROM WHITE VANS. The 3 stars is for the subs.

One of the worst speakers you can get. The sound is very artificial. High frequences expecially bad and distorted. Except from the bass which is OK because big woofer is used there is nothing to talk about. Don't pay even 50$ for those. If somebody will offer them to you on the street take them to the police.

Bass is excellent.

Midranges and tweeters suck.

The mid ranges and tweeters are what make these speakers crap. If you've already purchased them and are looking to improve the sound quality slightly, I suggest replacing the mid-ranges with optimus 4 inch speakers from radio shack for about $20 each. The tweaters are crap because they sound undefined(poor). Also they have cheap plastic covers over them to stop them from blowing. This was a problem when they were marketed as Acoustic Response, the same speaker with no plastic cover over the tweeters. Pay no more than $100 for them, but they are worth that much money.
The subwoofers they use outperform my MTX Blue Thunder sub in my car. The bass is very clear and powerful. This is surprising, as the sale of these speakers is meant to be a scam for ripping people off.

None! Sounds like poop!!

Everything! Sounds like do do!!! I was riped off by 3 guys in a white van for 400 big ones!!!

Over powering bass and distorted sound. I could have found better speakers for 20 bucks or maybe in someones trash.

The cabinets look nice

Crap, crap, crap!!!Everything, especially the wiring inside.

I posted a review earlier and I would just like to say that everything sukcs about these speakers. They are manufactured as cheaply as possible. Even the subwoofers suck and if you take them out of the box, you will find that they are light as a feather. If you are approached, don't buy these speakers for any amount of money.

They are ok at low level listening

They suck at high levels....

I knew i was scammed when i bought them..i knew that these weren't going to be what the curbside resellers said they were. But i bought them for $200 and at the time i needed speakers in my room..i ctually think it was a good deal. they are not the best by no means, but they can crank pretty good. Eventually i will replace the lame components.
