good bass and volume

i bought my pair coming out of the mall, they pulled up beside me in a white van and asked if i wanted some speakers. there was a fat guy and skinny guy. the skinny guy did all the talking.they showed me a catelodge with the speakers in it. it said they were $1699 each.next time i see them im getting my money back one way or another.

Well, I thought it sounded fishy when two guys looking like a bunch of drunks came strolling up in there van trying to sell speakers to me. I remembered the name and the model bumber to come here and check on the prices to see if it had been true. I also remembered their license plate # - AJEB 530...so beware to anyone else who may run into them!

i was walking by a van and they were trying to sell me these 300w garfdale speakers. They had them hooked up in the van so i could hear them, they sounded alrite. He told me he was sellin them for 500 bux. I offered 250 and he said sure.. This told me they were either hot or crap.. i told him i had to go home to get some money he said he would follow me so i said sure. when i went into my house i immediately looked up the name "grafdale" and it took me to this site. The reviews here saved me from gettin scammed so thanks to the people that wrote the reviews and to audioreview.com!

not a very strong sound

I bought these Grafdale speakers thinking that it was a huge deal. Two guys in a van told me that they had picked up a delivery for 4 speakers and got 4 pair instead. They wanted to sell them off so that they wouldn't get screwed out of money. They started real high and came down when I was leaving. I was lucky, the speakers sound adequate. These speakers are not worth much more than $100 a pair. Buyer beware !
