when it comes to these scamers u gotta reli trick them at the time my dad had some tannoy mercury m2 wich deliver u listening delight, when they came up to us my dad sed he wanted to try them out so they agreed and conected one tannoy and one dynalab the tannoys put the dynalabs to shame and the men were sweating, if the tannoys where £100 and they were selling it to us for £200 we knew that this is definetley a scam. so the scammers thinking thay were getting a good deal traded it for a worthless drum kit wich my dad scammed them into, so if u got these for £200 then u shuldent have payed that much but the power of these are great it is now 2007 and one of the tweekters blew up rite at the end of 2004 just going onto 2005, but the tannoys are still happy and not worn away, so in this round tannoy has taken the crown with the tannoy mercury m2

Strength:

Sales techniques comparible to BOSE retailers.

Weakness:

They want money for them.

I'm terribly sorry to have to say this, but anyone here saying that these speakers are "The best I've heard" or "Aussom" obviously has no idea whatsoever about quality audio.

These speakers are crap. Nothing more, nothing less.

If they were such a great bargain, why would these sleazy dudes be willing to sell 2 PAIRS!!! for a tenth of what they are claimed to be worth.

NO DECENT QUALITY PRODUCT HAS A PROFIT MARGIN AS BIG AS THAT!!!

Wake up and come back to reality.

Honestly, you could spend the same money on a set of reputable brand-name bookshelf speakers that may not look as impressive in your loungeroom, but will sound a hell of a lot more accurate and balanced that these POS's.

Strength:

Solid, well built and sound great!

Weakness:

None.

i bought these speakers from a white van in my banks parking lot. they claimed they had just installed 4 sets in the home of a very popular Bengal football player. They wanted $800 for a pair. I said bartered them down to $200 a pair. I made them follow me home so I could hook them up and hear them before I paid. I thought they sounded great for a pair of $200 speakers. they also had a popular Audio magizine that listed the speakers at $1200 a pair. The artical had a very positive review of these speakers. they claimed they were on their way home and wanted to sell me the last pair they had. So I offered them $300 for two pair of speakers. they took it and I'm happy! I use the speakers as my front and rear speakers in my home theater room. the sound is awesome! I have a Legend Audio subwoofer and center channel. Everyone who hears the sound in my theater think it's the greatest sound they've ever heard. I love 'em!

Strength:

Great sound for the money ($200). I really can't complain. These speakers have been nothing but good to me. Although, I never opened them up to see if they actually have "computerized cross-overs" or not. but hey, they work for me.

Weakness:

If you pay more than $200, you are getting ripped off. I honestly don't think they are worth more than that.

I bought my DynaLab twoer speakers out of a typical "White van" just like many of you have. For the price I paid, I really can't complain. The line they used to approach me with was, "Hey, i know this sounds crazy...but, do you want to buy some speakers?" Now, I had seen guys like this before, but never looked at the speakers. And, naturally, they appraoched me on a friday (pay day). Seeing as how I consider myself a little street smart, I got the speakers for $200. They, of course, tried to get more out of me by saying they just wanted to buy a bag of pot after a long day of work. To which I replied, "I don't know what kind of sh*t you guys smoke. But if 200 bones won't get you a bag of smoke, then I don't know what will". So, they took the money and left. If you ever see these guys, don't hesitate you check out thier equipment. If you can talk them down to 200 bucks or less, then you ARE getting a decent deal.

Strength:

Built like a tank. I have done everything but throw them off the Empire State Building and I cannot break them. They have suffered years of torturous deep bass music and sizzling boy-band treble and they keep thirsting for more.

Weakness:

Too hard to find!

I love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. I want more. I think that with the right equipment they sound as good as anything I have heard. LOUD AS HELL!!! I can't bust 'em and I 've been trying for six years. If any of you people who are moaning and groaning about these speeks want to sell, I'm in the market to buy!

Strength:

Good bass, good mid, and high sound. Excellent for a back yard party.

Weakness:

4 years, none yet. And I have abused them.

I bought the Dyna-Lab speakers from a couple of guys in a van. Just $200.00 and a little apprehensive, but... with good equipment, ie. a Denon DRA-545R receiver and a small mackie digital board, they are every bit worth $200.00. For those of you griping about lack of quality of sound with your SDA2.8 speakers, I would say break open your wallet and step up your A/V receiver. You get Kmart sound from Kmart equipment.
