Good bass, good soundstage, precise imaging, lots of detail

A little harshness in the treble that people may find fatiguing

I've been using these speakers for 6 months now, and I haven't been disappointed for a second. They have a great sound and stereo imaging.
I auditioned different models of Mission, Kef (Q55, Q65), Tannoy (R2 & R3) B&W (DM 603 S2), Dynaudio 50. In another shop I listened to different models of Accoustic Research and Totem (Model-1, Staff) that were double the price. All other speakers lacked bass or detail.
If you find the treble too bright, try an amp with a more laid-back sound, like Arcam's.

To crispy in the top, could have been more detailed

Got the 606's for my confirmation, and the first thing i noticed was the bass.
At that time i was a bass freak :)
After ive used them for nearly 2years i am happy with them.
I used them together with my PDR 1200 sub.
And NAD 3155 amp.
I dont gets the best out of the speakers with my NAD so this would be a bit different with another amp.

But for this kind of money this is a perfect speaker for those who like to play loud heavy music.
They takes very much.
Its the perfect boy speaker.

It is quite satisfying with my 100W receiver

Very slender nice looking speakers.
Very clear high tones and an excellent short bass.

At very high output the treble gives some irritation.

This is a dream come true, finally I am able to hear every sound produced with my Denon Amplifier! I even enjoy old CD's that I haven't played for a long time. I noticed a very good distiction between the different bass. Only if you play the speakers really loud there's a slight exaggeration of the high tones. I'll connect my record player next week to check how this sounds!

nice midrange and treble

strong but blurry and not very deep bass.

Listened to these speakers today but I am not very impressed. The overall soundquality is fair, but nothing extraordinary. I didn't like the bass though. Boomy, undefined and weak at lower frequencies.

Bass could be more defined.

Dali 606 is a good speaker for the money spent. If you are considering Dali 5005 go for the new Dali 6006 or get your hands an a pair of Dali 606 instead. The stereo image is a lot better with Dali 606 than with Dali 505.

I bought my Dali 606 about 2 months ago, and i have been very satisfied. Dali 606 has very powerful and dynamic bass, 3x6.5" will take care of that. And with 606, you can play LOUD too. I recommend this speaker to everyone, who want to have accurate sound, fast and powerful bass and manly appearance. Basic HiFi for everyone.

Well, I'm not as impressed about these speakers as you others were. I think they hv eto much of the high frequences, which make them uncomfortable listen to. The bass is quite powerfull, but it's not enough presice because of three elements. But, well, it's an OK budget speaker.

Very good speakers. Only $50 more expensive than Dali 505 but vocals and midrange much better.

The Dali 606 special Edition has been designed for the NAD c340 amp and the NAD c540 cdplayer. It is a better version of the standard 606 resulting in a very warm, open detailed sound. It needs a powerfull dynamic amp like the NAD c340. Go check it out!
