These scum bags, did not know I read about this scam before. I got to play with their mind a little, and waste thier time.

They came up to in this case Portland Maine, they pulled up next to me, and asked me to check this out.

The same pitch, boss gave them too many speakers, they were installing into a movie thearter, and instead of returning the extras wanted to sell them.

Well I got on my cell phone to Portland's finest, when I went back to my car, came back with all kinds of questions.

How many watts per channel.
What is the make again?
let me see that sales literature? Where i on purpose had it upside down and staired at it.

I asked them to read me the features.

What is the name of your company.
Where is it from?
Why did you say your company was from southern maine when you have NH plates.

Then the cops arrived. I told them they were trying to sell me crappy speakers and rip people off.

Guess what they had a sales permit. Go figure.

Scum bags did not sell to this one, but I did manage to waste some of their time.

Holy crap the white van! When I was 12 my brother bought these from a dude in a van with some crappy camera and a car stereo which was nameless. Same story. I had them affixed to Fisher Studio standard receiver. As soon as I pumped up the volume it made a real cool crackling noise and a pop. Then nothing. That was worth the $75 Cool sound for a 12 year old. This cracks me up. I learned alot about speakers with these pieces of crap. I took them apart and tinkered. It was fun.. Like a science project. hehe
