Strength:

Great Sound, Large Sound Stage

Weakness:

None So far

I have had the speaker for about a month now. i enjoy it more everytime I use it. It is a replacement for a Kenwood speaker I have had for awhile. I have been admiring the Paradigm Monitor series, and knew that for the money and performence I would not be displeased. And I am not!

If your are in the market for a great center channel then give it a listen.

Mates well with warmer sounding receivers, like denon or marantz.I would stay away from yamaha, you might find the sound to be bright with these titanium tweeters.Regardless this is a great speaker

Strength:

Excellent sound, nice appearance

Weakness:

Recurrent problems

Paradigm quality? I am beginning to wonder. I have had this speaker in for repairs twice now, all within one year of purchase. The sound becomes muted, and won't come back unless the speaker cabinent is tapped on. It will work for a while, then become muted again.

Also, even though Paradigm claims a 5-year parts and labor warranty, they will only pay for parts if you can't take it back to the original dealer. So now I am paying extra just to get a speaker that works.

Everything

Weakness:

Nothing

Kudos to Paradigm for a great center speaker. Mated to my Paradigm Monitor 7's the sound stage is nothing short of excellent. Everytime I watch a movie, I am more inclined to listen rather than watch because of the strength of this speaker. Anyone looking for a quality, budget minded center, they owe it to themselves to listen to Paradigm.

Strength:

Great vocals, anchors everything to sceen, detail, construction.

Weakness:

Shape, bass

This speaker is wonderful. The detail that has come out of the speaker is wicked. It took a good 40-50 days for the break in to take place, but once you survive that you are in for a treat.

Pros:
Deatil, this speaker will output everything that is happening in the soundtrack of any dvd. Comparing it to my old JBL HLS (which I loved), I was watching Blade the other day and noticed something about the techno song playing in the background. I could hear the actual song. Not just the bass beat. On my old JBL center for some reason that part didn't come through, just the bass beat did.
Another pro is how well it images with the rest of the monitor series. Panning from front to front is completely seamless, not at first but after the break in period, it creats a wall of sound.

Cons (not that they are major)
The shape...it is meant to be placed on a stand in front of a screen, tilted up. So if you are using on top of a monitor you must find a way to tilt it down.
Bass, there isn't much from this guy, b4 or after the break in...but the pros more than make up for it.

Build quality

I have had the cc200 in my system for years and I loved it until my friend brought over his "Studio CC" and I heard what I was missing. I don't have studio speakers so the 370 was the natural choice, although the "CC" blended perfectly.
I have only had it in my system for a few weeks so I know it isn't completely broken in yet, at first it sounded chesty and colored but I think it might be because it's putting out more bass than the 200. On the few movies I have watched, it seems to blend well and sounds very spacious. I think it just needs more time. I have it on top of my tv and have tried it angled down as well as normal sitting. I've left it angled.
With my cc200, I used to turn off the front speakers when people came over and then after a few minutes say "oops I forgot to turns these on" and they'd be like "no way!".(don't try this without a sub though) It's a good way to see how big a soundstage it'll throw.
I think I've made the right choice even if it'll take some time to know for sure.
Does anyone know why they didn't make it bi-wireable? The CC-350 was. Why wouldn't it's predecessor?

Strength:

everything- detail, soundstage, high output!!

Weakness:

none, these should sell for way more than this!!

Thus center channel is by far the best in its class, l listened to several, some costing hundreds more, and the paradigm cc370 was by far the best sounding at a amazing price. Listen to one at your local dealer and you will see (or hear ) what l am talking about!! Highly recommended,

Strength:

Pretty much everything, it's a great value too.

Weakness:

It's big and heavy...but I guess that's not much of a weakness.

I went to the store with my mind set on either the cc170 or the cc370 to match my excelent monitor 3's. All it took was a minute of listening and their was no longer a question. Don't get me wrong, the 170's a great CC but the 370 blew it out of the water, the difference was very obvious. That said, the 370 is an amazing CC at any price, but at $280(open box) it can't be beat it's clear, sharp and will play as loud as you can stand. It really does its job perfectly, highly recomended.

Strength:

mid-range,bass,treble,build quality,size(good internal volume),quality of driver's perfect with all monitor series speaker's,above average efficiency(92db).

Weakness:

absolutely none

This an awsome center channel,it can handle and reproduce the most demanding of DD/DTS soundtract's with ease. The dual 6.5 inch mid-woofers really can hold their own with vertually no audible distortion. What I really like is how huge the cabinet is,the center is the most active speaker in a multi-channel set-up,and produces about 90% of on-screen effect's,in wich a large cabinet is needed to produce large sound. This speaker is also a perfect match to my monitor 7's,which I use for main's as well as rear's.
