i would just like to state that I am SICK of everyone making fun of me. I just immigrated to this country, and i am constantly being called a dirty immigrant!!!!!! anyway, the stereo is ok, nothing to get out of my corner and sing and dance about though.
And i have this to say to anyone of those neighborhood kids making fun of me:
Tipi siete maiali fucking e vi meritate di morire! YOu sono sacchetti lifeless della schiuma, voi sacchi di dung!! I tipi di YOu sono la schiuma che seleziono dai miei toenails ogni notte.

I disagree, I really like the stereo, is delivers deep rich bass tones, and really helps my home grown business. People from miles around flock to my village to listen to this stereo and watch me dance.

i beg to differ from what swanson said, i think he has no clkue what he is talking about, what a dunce! he does not know the first thing about music. the system is good but it definitely does not deserve 2 trophys! that is a high honor.

this is simply the most incredible system recently dreated, that is without spending 1000's of $'s. The sound is absolutely crystal clear, and the design is astounding, I LOVE IT! It definitely deserves a trophy or 2.

I have recently bought the NS-7 & I'm really impressed. It's pretty minimalistic, so anyone who wants a system with loads of flashing lights is going to be disappointed, but it has more than enough functions & most importantly it sounds great! ( lots of base - thanks to the thumping subwoofer )The satelite speakers deliver crisp sound, though you have to play around with the positioning of them a bit - the further apart the better I reckon.
So, if youre after a really good system, dont bother with other mini systems -go for this, you wont regret it!!

It looks nice, it sounds nice. It's a complete system, consistent and well priced. Obviously not top a performer, both in benchmarks and pure listening, but after all, it is very pleasant to live with. The speakers needed some time to be placed correctly (too much of bass).
Ah, two things : be sure to respect the speakers phases, this can make the sound really ugly if you did it wrong ; MD too expensive IMO.

Love the looks (although a jealous friend described it as a bit sixties looking). Great sound (in 18 x 10 room), plenty of adjustment for woofer level. Makes great tapes (Maxell best) for the car.

Strength:

Cheap. Nice Design

Weakness:

Cheap. Poor materials = poor sound quality. Garbage remote.

This systems continues to disappoint me. A lot better than JVC mini's, which doesn't mean much. Noisey amp delivers terrible mids through $5.00 speakers. You can pick your teeth with the cheap speaker wire.

Strength:

Great sound, great looks, easy to operate.

Weakness:

No surround module, can't accept thick speaker cables.

Great looks, sounds very good. I've listened to quite a lot of high end mini/midi systems. None sounded better than the NS-7. As the design of the system suggests, this is a great system. I can't belive Pioneer now discontinued this product. If you can get it, buy it. It's a coming classic.
