ramdom beeps that i can not explain

My first DVD player, and first Toshiba product. Since I got the DVD player I have flipped for Toshiba products. I also sort of like the remote, it can handle the three basic functions of my Toshiba TV remote, Power on/off, Channel Up/down, and Volume Up/down. (by pressing the enter button and the power,up, down, left, right buttons at the same time)
