Picture Quality

I purchased this DVD player after returning a Toshiba DVD player because the Toshiba had problems playing most of my DVDs. This Sony player is really fantastic. The picture quality on it is really amazing. The only problem I've had with this unit is for some reason when I put in a DVD sometimes there is no sound. This happens very infrequently and is no major problem. I just open and then close the tray and it fixes the problem. I also think it sounds a bit bright with CDs.
Overall this is an excellent DVD player and if you can find it used somewhere at a good price it would be a terrific bargain.
