Strength:

VERY VERSITILE. DVD, CD (including CD-R) and VHS all in a unit the size of a typical VCR. If you have limited space, you want to look at this unit!

Weakness:

It is supposed to play MP3. I've tried a couple of times but have not been able to get this to work.

This unit was "EXTREMELY" flexible/versatile to hook up and use. Excellent video quality on VHS and DVD. Excellent sound quality on music CDs. I bought the unit because I saw a very good review in "Sound and Vision" (formerly Stereo Review). I've seen the unit in mail order adds and in Sam's Club for $349. This is a great price when you look at the cost of separate components.

I didn't know much about Go-Video prior to the review in Sound and Vision. I always thought it was a low-end to mid range brand. I have been very impressed. This is NOT a low-end product!!!

The only thing I found that was a negative was it takes a little bit to learn how to use and switch between sources. I didn't have much of a problem, but if somebody else grabs the remote, they need a little coaching.

I give it a very strong recommendation!
