Strength:

COMFORT, COMFORT, COMFORT! The sound suits my taste perfectly so far.

Weakness:

Hard-pressed to think of any...although the 1/4" adapter isn't made exactly the way I'd like.

With all things headphones, I think you face more subjectivity than perhaps with any other piece of audio equipment because it is something that you wear. Different shaped ears and heads and tolerances for different SPLs at different frequencies that close to your ear could make huge differences between people I suppose.

The only exception to that rule would involve durability, and I haven't owned them long enough to comment on that yet. My subjective opinions are:

1. I doubt you'll ever find many more comfortable headphones. Certainly much better than the Grados...hence the change.
2. The sound I'd describe as somewhat similar to those Grados I had previously, but with a bit more punch--yet not over-bearing. Certainly better than the cheap-o Sonys I use in different settings.
3. The 1/4" adapter plug doesn't allow for a very audible "snap" or "click" to hear that properly attached...I like that feedback.

For me, at the $85 I paid they were an incredible value, but at the normal retail of $170, I probably wouldn't have even bought them...I probably would've went with the Sennheiser 470's. I know...that's a totally different bird in the Sennheiser line, but as far as sound goes, I think they do offer a good bang-for-the-buck ratio from my limited listening at the store.
