Bass, mids, highs and built quality. I was using QED Qnec2 before this product from VDH. Sonically its superior in terms of bass depth and clarity overall. Drums especially sounds fuller than the QED. At 3 times the price of the Qnec2, it is definitely not triple the reward. The Qnec2 is perhaps the cream of the crop at its price, VDH wins handsdown for a bigger bite at the buck. Similar Products Used: QED |

Strength:
Smooth, transparent, very deep bass
Weakness:
Lack a bit of dynamics Ok, the search is over, after getting my pair of VDH D102MKIII(I love them), I decided to change my speaker cables to the CS122 as well to create a VDN synergised system. WOW, great cables I would said, all the treble harshness I want experience are alll out of the window!! Sweet and smooth treble, couple with a lush and warma midrange covered by a deep deep bass....what can I say... Similar Products Used: Audioquest, Mit, QED, IXOS, Belden |

Pretty good for the price. The detail blows away cheap monster cable. Hybrid design allows the carbon to relax harshness while the silver brings out the detail. It has been a while since I used this cable so I can't comment much more. Of course, my XLO Type 6 which replaced it was faster and cleaner (also over twice the price). The good thing is this is sold in bulk. |

Strength:
Airly and musical
Weakness:
not specify polority direction I am glad I have chossen a right cable for my system. I like the clearity and openness of how its sound. It is very compatible with my set up. I also enjoy to the smoothness of the vocal and very detail bass. At the connection point, no fancy cable lug or any plug is used. Applying a layer of high silver/tin contain solder paste coating is sufficient. Similar Products Used: XLO, Supra |

Weakness:
None These cables are truly a bargain, the construction and quality of materials (conductors and insulation) is firt rate. The sound is excellent, and within their price range you will be hard pressed to find out something only near to the performance of this cable. Give the cable a couple of weeks to break down. I'm kinda different from the most of you. I'm a guitar player and have a nice 19" rack with all tube gear (Mesa/Boogie). And because I do not want to loose my precious tube sound I've used Van Den Hul D-102 III for all connections and the CS-122 as speaker cable. |
