    Strength:

    Sound, sound, sound! Crystal clear!

    Weakness:

It might be me still trying to figure out how to use the locking RCA's, but the cables come loose every so often.

First, I must urge you to shop around. I needed 5 channels worth of cable, for the front, center and rear of my home theater set up (running one two channel and and one three channel amp). I bought my first pair here on this site, for a grand total of $120. The seller also included an audiophile-grade AC power cord (worth about $40) that upgraded the power cord on my amp, so the first pair actually cost $80. I bought a second pair on Audiogon for $110. I had to contact the manufacturer to buy one single TMC Yellow interconnect for my center channel. Since I participated in an Audiogon auction, I got it for 1/2 the auction price, or $54.50.

I hooked the first pair up to the left and right front channels, and listened to some quality recordings on CD: Diane Krall, James Taylor, Alison Krauss, etc.). I immediately was able to percieve a noticable difference. It is not so much that these cables have a sound quality of their own. Rather, the lack of coloration is what these cables have to offer. I heard elements in the music that I had not previously noticed: vocal tones, instruments, sound stage placement of musicians and vocalists.

These cables are an excellent upgrade, and I would suggest that they are a fine addition to any mid to high end system. My equipment, listed below, is of good quality, though certainly not the most expensive available. However, I now beleive that cables do contribute to a quality home entertainment experience. TMC Yellows have been an excellent choice for me.

    Strength:

Extended bass, more clarity, transparency, etc.

    Weakness:

    Stiff but moldable.

Audio nirvana. Yes, cables/interconnects do make a difference. I read about these here and decided to try them--so far so good. Compared to what you'd pay for retail top end cables, these are a good buy if you can stand to wait for the shipping. The Aussies were nice to deal w/--very friendly. I now get a lot more bass and can hear the separation of the various instruments better. Between these and my new Alphacore Goertz MI2s (which I also recommend), it's like someone gave my stereo an adrenaline shot. Hopefully this is it for me in upgrading my stuff for a while:

    Strength:

Once run in, performance compared to weaknesses and price, make these cables a fabulous buy!

    Weakness:

Due to inherent stiffness and smooth cable bend radius required, you need around 5" clear min behind your equipment.

I purchased the white and yellow interconnects through Audigon based purely on good reviews and the money back guarantee. My system is of very high resolution, but it was not easy to listen to at high volumes for long periods of time. I figured a change of interconnect may do the trick. I received the cables exactly one week after ordering and they arrived in perfect condition. The Music Cable Company is very easy to deal with and King has been very courteous with follow up e-mails. The build quality of the TMC’s is as good as I have seen; professionally crafted and attractive.
I replaced my more expensive silver interconnects with the TMC’s and my initial impression was disappointment! I had lost detail and apparent dynamics. The TMC’s sounded dull in comparison. One thing that I did notice though was a very musical, foot tapping presentation that was much easier to listen to at high volumes. I decided to give the TMC’s a chance because of these facts and run them in, most of the time without me listening. After about a month of listening on and off, my opinion of the TMC’s changed dramatically! After critical listening on known material these were my new conclusions. The TMC’s had opened way up and had become significantly more transparent. The dullness had disappeared and they sound incredibly natural. I thought I was imagining it and so changed back to my silvers. It was not my imagination and the silvers sounded almost unpleasantly harsh and thin, now I had got used to the TMC’s. The balance now, I would describe as very neutral. The TMC’s sound quite different to a lot of cables. They are only make a noise when the music is playing, otherwise they are silent. This sounds weird but TMC owners will understand. Reading the online literature, I would imagine this is due to the excellent screening effect of the solid jackets. The cables have incredible space, separation and positioning qualities. I think this is because there is less “junk” in the signal and so separation is easier to hear. They are easily the most natural and musical sounding cables that I have heard and I have been comparing and making cables for over 20 years! I am now going to replace all my cables with TMC’s, I am that impressed! I think I have finally found a cable that I can be happy with long term and just enjoy the music for a change (traditional audiophile problem). Remember, don’t form an opinion until they are well run in as they get a lot better!

    Strength:

    superb imaging and transparency

    Weakness:

    haven't found yes

Three months ago, I had to return Tice interconnects pair to a friend, who graciously allowed me to use his $600 worth cable for several months. When I replaced them with a basic monster cable, I realized how an audio interconnects makes sounds different. My favorite J. S. Bach's Suites for Cello no longer sounded right.
I got my TMC yellow and white label cables from audiogon, after seaching for the right cable for 2 months. I have not used a fancy cable such as Cardas Golden Reference, so I cannot make an absolute judgement. But, this is the best product I have tested by far. They are balacend over the entire frequency range; detail in the heighs, fuller bass, and rich in the mid...
And as they burn in, they perform even more smoothly. I'm thinking about trying their speaker cable when I move into 4-channel system.

    Strength:

    Air, Soundstage, Separation between instruments

    Weakness:

Not very Flexibile. Hard to route

Being one of those audiophiles that is always searching for the holy musical grail or trying to fix problems in the audio path because of other components in my system, I have tried numerous interconnects, and speaker cables. While I have heard drastic improvements, I was not quite prepared for the difference that TMCs cables made in my system. For just a little taste of what I mean; this morning, my wife wanted to listen to music, and she said keep it low because she was trying to read. Well, I have B&W Nautilus speakers and they usually do not come alive at low volumes, so I was quite shocked when the vocals almost came out of the speakers and bit me even though the volume was quite low.....WOW. I only put the interconnects in my system yesterday between my PRE and AMP. They are not even broke in or they do not require any break-in I am not sure which. If they are still breaking in then they will only get better which is unbelievable. I am bidding to get a set of the Whites to try with my source components. I have typically used good Silver cables because of their transparency, but the TMCs are more transparent and colorless. WOW....WOW.....WOW 5 stars is not high enough. The only reason, I even tried these cables was because they were relatively in-expensive, and the outstanding reviews......Once again WOW!!!!!!!

    Strength:

    increased bass exstention,increased soundstage,quality locking connectors,smooth sound

    Weakness:

maybe slightly to warm and smooth for my tastes in music, but they are not even broken in at all. ahh....they're stiff

Look....some people say cables make no difference in sound....ahhh WRONG! If you can't hear a difference with TMC cables then 1, You already have excelent cables, or 2 You need to make a trip to the doctor and get the wax flushed out of your ears because the increase in sound quality is about as subtle as getting slapped in the face(by Arnold). Right out of the box my bass extention doubled and I no longer have to fight with my sub to make it blend with my other 2 speakers, it's location became invisible. I could not believe my ears! These cables are quality inside and out. If you are not satisfied with the soundstage or bass extention you are getting now.... I recommend you try these cables. 30 days to try them and get a refund if you don't like them....heh.
I decided to try them on a whim and I'm glad I did.

These cables are great. Best money I ever spent. I am using the yellow from amp to pre, white from CD to pre and their speaker cable. I feel they out perform cables at much higher price tags. The company reps I dealt with were very friendly and fast with their email responses. The cables were delivered within a week. Give these cables a try, you won't be sorry.

    Strength:

Built to last - top quality materials and contruction.

    Weakness:

A bit stiff to work with, but molds to the position you place them in.

Also see my detailed review on the TMC White Label Interconnects here at audioreview.com.

I bought a yellow label - thicker conductor and slightly thicker jacket - for my connection between amp and pre-outs. Wonderful Cable!! Sounds great right out of the package . . . Quiet, Neutral, and Very Musical. These are more dynamic then the Kimbers, yet more nuetral and laid back then the Transparents, however the imaging is still very good. The Transparents tend to be somewhat "bright", while the Kimber seems to choke out some of the range. These cables are a balance of the two - a more refined, and accurate sound; great imaging (probably their best trait), and don't tend to add any "colors" to the music. It beat the Monsters (one of their very best!) in almost every area - sad to say, but most of the monster products are not that great.

These cables offer better performance than several cables I have paid hundreds more for. I got distinct and noticeable (like you can HEAR a difference) improvements, and that's what its all about. You pay big bucks for gear, and the cables and interconnects are an extension of these components. Care should be used in testing various cable brands and types to match the gear, environment, and music you are trying to recreate. I typically A/B cables in an effort to weed out the hype, and found these to be solid performers. Highly recommended. Available at e-bay, audiogon.com and the company's website.

    Strength:

Separation, dynamics. Excellent sound stage. Good tonal balance

    Weakness:

    Too stiff

I bought it simply because it is cheap and the excellent reviews on audioreview.
In fact I am trying to find a suitable cable to connect my phono amp and line amp. Those cable I have used have some defects and cannot satisfy me.
This cable is not very impressive on appearance. The sound is quite dry in first one to two hours but it turn smoother afterwards. Very detailed and deatils. Good transients. The sound stage is excellent and in fact better than all those mid-price cable I have used. Excellent for jazz and Good for classics. Although it seems to be not so marvelous as other reviews, I would still highly recommend this cable since its price is 1/3 to 1/4 of all other comparable cables. Also I need to fully run in this cable before it give my final comment. Certainly a five star product. Well done TMC !!!!

    Strength:

Locking connectors, very transparent, great soundstage, neutral sounding, excellent clarity.

    Weakness:

No directions....I nearly went nuts trying to get these on my amp!

I bought some great McIntosh components just recently, and wanted to hear them, so was making do with some Monster Cable Reference 2's between the crossover and power amp.

"Won" the auction on Audiogon for a pair of 1.5m Yellow labels. Well, it seemed to take forever for them to come from Australia....(12 days), so I was getting used to the sound of my new system. Finally hooked the Yellows up between the amp and pre-amp/crossover and WHAM! (Even my girlfriend noticed the difference...and she's pretty blase' about stereo, but perceptive when she wants to be.)

Things just got clearer.... kinda felt like getting out of the congested smoggy city and into the mountains on a clear full-moon night. How's that for an analogy?!

Worth the money! Sound great! (STIFF!)

I have two more pairs of the white labels ordered for the tape deck in and outs for listen/record....I'm sure my tapes will go up in sound quality.
