I use these cables as a connection between my preamp (Sunfire Theater Grand) and AMP/speakers (Paradigm Active 20s/Servo 15/Active CC-450). One of the best built cables I have EVER seen. The sound is neutral and extremely detailed expecially after some break-in period. I can not recommend these cables enough. I compared them to some MITs. Kimber Hero, and XLO cables and I just preferred the sound I got from these cables much much more. The best cable at this price range. I can not say about much higher cables because I can not afford the $1000+/M ones.

Previous to buying off a friend's 1.5M TruthLink, already broken in for me, I was using BEL, Harm Tech Pro Silway MK II wires. While the BELs are very neutral, I was looking for a little more (tilted) warmth in the mid-to-low area. With cables, it's a matter of balance in my opinion. The BELs are very good wires already. Then, I bought a ProSilway II pair. I just didn't like thw HT PSII's lack of bass focus in "my" system (who knows if it might be better in another's?). So, this friend recommended me to try the TruthLink. I just loved it. It's overall balance in my opinion is better. I am actually selling the HT PW II and make TruthLink my reference.

This review is for Truth link silver interconnect special edition. my friend, HT distributor for Indonesia market said that this interconnect is made only for CES 2001. so not for sale for public. he got this sample stright from HT's, Jim Wang. This cable outperform my standard Truth link as well as my pro silway II. more dinamic, open from top to bottom... maybe not as transparent as my nordost blue heaven. a bit slower than Blue heaven. but much more revealing... warm... and rich....absolutely 5 stars for the outstanding performance

I had Straight Wire Virtuoso (gold) between my D/A (Meridian 566) and Jadis (DA30 used as a power amp only) for over 3 years.Once I installed the Truth-link, highs and midrange cleared by a noticable degree and the bass resonance I had around 40hz nearly vanished. Everything seemed balanced and well..harmonic.
...And that's before a break-in!!...
Now, after more than 30 hours of listening, details are easier to hear and understand what they are and where they're coming from.
You should try them as Harmonic gives a 30 days return policy. No way to loose on this one and you can match them against ANY wire on YOUR system.
I feel pretty safe they won't even require any break-in to prove their worth...

After reading some outstanding reviews on this interconnect, I contacted Jim Wang from HT and got a pair along with a pair of copper digital cable. Initially, the character of the sound coming out of my system was very different from my prior cable upgrade (JPS Superconductor,XLO Signature, etc...). It was hard to assess if the difference in character of sound is toward one of improvement or not. After the cables burn-in appropriately after a few weeks, I began to perform comparison tests with the other cables mentioned above. I started out by getting very familiar with the sound with the Truth Link installed, then quickly replaced with with the JPS. While the JPS is an excellent cable with remarkable mid-bass & sparkling, mid-treble response, I feel that low level details were obscured. XLO signature throws a large soundstage but its image focus is not as solidly convincing and a little weak also in its reproduction of mid-range frequency. As for the HT Truthlink, the vocal is very full, smooth and live-sounding with an analog quality to digital recordings. Bass too is big, deep and resonate like real bass and decay very naturally with varying degree of shading that is overly-simplified by other cables in the test. Treble is natural without being excessive and edgy and non-fatiguing. Overall, I'm convinced that this cable is of very high resolution and refinement. All in all, the performance put forth by this cable is one of supremely integrated, organically balanced quality that does nothing to promote criticism. To put it in a visual context, the difference it made to my audio system is liken to having a television carefully calibrated. Without the Truthlink, the audio picture is like a TV picture out of the box: with excess and deficiency but neutrality. I don't know whether others can decipher differences to the degree mentioned here, but I do know that I won't need other's confirmation either. Overall, I feel that this may be the final 'component' that will break the threshold of 'almost there' to truly appreciating music as it's intended to be enjoyed given other chains in the system are of somewhat high calibur. I almost forgot, the HT copper digital RCA too, can be attributed the above qualities hard as it may be to digest mentally. Whoever try out the HT line of cables, please give it some time as patience brew greater appreciation or rather addiction in this case.
may the force be with you!

For the past 3 months I have been using HT Precision Links and pretty satisfied with them, however I felt that I had improved my overall system to justify trying the Truth Links. The salesman said Truth Links were not twice as good as Precision Links, but I think he is wrong. I just started using my new Truth Links and a whole new listening experience has entered my home. Everything is wonderful and warm, deeper wider and taller soundstage plenty of room for each instrument. Very neutral balance and lifelike bass. What really amazed me was listening to Diana Kralls new CD before her voice seemed smaller and out of place with the instruments. With Truth Links its more like she is performing in my living room with the band placed around her, you can almost see them. Very exciting. I`m using GT SE40 tube amp and Musical Design tube pre with Echelon Harmonic Precision 11ohm speakers. Using 2 pairs of IC`s both Harm Techs I must give them a 5.

It seems from the previous reviews that I am a dissenting voice. I found the Truthlink to have a degree of upper mid-range glare that made me rank it well below both Straightwire Virtuoso and Magnan Vi. Apart from the glare the sound was grainless and of a high standard.
These issues can be system dependant of course. I use the flagship Theta two box CD combo - which is more forward than some others. Pre and Power are tubed and neither are bright. Speakers are Thiel - and these can expose any upper-mid/treble problems ruthlessly. The room is also slightly on the bright side.

Whatever, they did not work for me and so take care.

Strength:

Detail, Detail, Detail!
Punch! Speed!

Weakness:

Very slight lean sound

The previous poster must have been very impatient. I had my doubts at first but then they were gone.
His comments only apply for the first couple of days. After that the cables brighten up, then mellow out again. Very strange but worth the wait. I have about a month on mine and they sound fine.
These cables ended up replacing some very expensive Synergistic Phase 2 Looking Glass & Kaleidoscope ($575 each Yikes!)
it was AMAZING how much music the Synergistics were missing. They should be ashamed for selling wire so expensive.

These wire seem to have no real sonic signature. They are neutral and honest. Also, very punchy and detailed, things I never heard before were popping out from everywhere. Bass comes through with full force and believe it or not it's detailed bass! A first at my house.

The only complaints about the Truth Links is they can be a little lean sounding on some recordings, but that could just be them being honest. The soundstage is slightly less defined than the Synergistics, but with a tiny (and I mean tiny) bit of toe in, I had a rock solid center image.

The best part is the price!
(and I got a 20% discount on top of that! Thanks to Bruce at Kays Interiors in Chicago)
