Strength:

Smooth clean sound very musical big sound stage

Weakness:

none, well maby little big and stiff

I recently had an experance that made me realize just how good these cables are. I got a new pair of truth links so to break them in I hooked them up to my cheap crappy Funai vcr. This Vcr is not very good and the sound is distorted with loud hissing and harsness on every enphised word. after a while I noticed that this distortion had gone away. eventually after break in I moved them to my cd player and put back my old dh lab bl1 series 2 as soon as I did the harshness came back. if they can make a crappy vcr sound good just think what they will do in a good system. they are very smooth and not at all harsh if your system is bright or harsh then this is the cable for you. My system is a little bright but the ht cables helped alot to smooth things out. Njoe Tjobe 4000 Sunfire classic tube pre musical fidelity m250 mono's

Strength:

Smooth, open, detailed and deep fast base. What more can you ask for? Good looks.

Weakness:

Use only with good components. If your system sounds dull - this cable is not for you...

Just a wonderful RCA. It´s smooth, yet open. The bass is deep and fast and the 3D-effect is hi-end. It does´nt get much better than this from a normally priced RCA. I A/B-tested it against a Tara Labs RSC-cable; also a very good cable. Compared to the Tara Labs the Harmonic Tech sounded smoother. At first the Tara Labs sounded more detailed. That was not the case. The Tara Labs was just brighter. Female jazz artists had more "body" with the Harmonic Tech and the 3D soundstage was deeper. Great RCA cable!!! Strength:

Just name it!

Weakness:

You cant take them to bed. (Or maybe you can!)

This Review is on the Truth-Link Silver.2002. WOOOW!! Plug this babys in and say goodbye to your equipment, they are all gone!! Left is just you and the music. The best "rightness" I´v ever heard. Quiet, detailed, warm, super fast, deep and just gone! The Soundstage is enormous. Replacing my Chord company "Signature" at allmost twice the money. Getting rid of ther "in your face-treble loudness" so called detail. Man, I´m in love!!!

Presents the music without alteration affordable

a little stiff

I purchased these cables from Mr. Wen-Li at eaudio.net. As an initial purchase, I tried the DH Labs BL-1 interconnects. The BL-1''''s are great cables, but were a bit too bright in my system. Mr. Wen Li suggested I try the Truthlink and I have been really impressed. The bass has definitely firmed up and the highs now have an element of musical rightness. I could definitely tell the difference. The sound just seems to flow very nicely with the system. The first thing I noticed about the Truthlinks were how substantial the width on the cables were compared to the Bl-1''''s. I would recommend anyone looking in the $200 interconnect range try these out. They have been a welcome addition to my system, which is as follows: NAD T760 Receiver Musical Fidelity A3-CD player Harm Tech TruthLinks PSB 4T Speakers

Strength:

Timbre of instruments very close to original. Great soundstage. Very transparent.

Weakness:

None that I can tell, but I hear the single crystal wire will be damaged if one bends the cables very sharply.

I bought these interconnects after reading the TAS review. I actually bought the TruthLink Silver. I was not sure they would make a difference. They did make a huge difference. The clarity with which I hear the instruments has been greatly enhanced. Sometimes it''s almost spooky. It''s the difference between looking through very dirty glasses and then cleaning your glasses and seeing everything clearer. Dynamics are simply explosive. Tony Williams in Miles Davis'' fantastic Sorcerer CD almost knocks me off my chair. The soundstage is spectacular, at least compared to what I had before. My speakers (ML Aerius) are not the best in this department. There was a great improvement, with much better instrument localization. Still, as before, some instruments sound as if they are coming from the speakers. I believe this is a problem with planars. I have been thinking about repalcing the MLs, probably with Harbeth Monitor 40, or Manger Zerobox 109. With the improvement I got with these interconnects I am having second thoughts. The sound got to be absolutely spectacular, better than I thought would be possible. I have ordered the HT speaker cables and will try them. The best quality of these cables is probably something that I would call harmonic rightness. The sound of a saxophone or piano sounds smooth and right, there is an integrity to it. It really satisfies, one enjoys the music, getting out of the analytic frame of mind. I really recommend auditioning these cables. eAudioNet.com will let you try them at home. Strength:

Crystal clear, construction quality, locking tips

Weakness:

The only weaknesses are in your system or the recordings.

Plain and simple these are great interconnects! They opened up the details and soundstage more than I could have imagined. They can reveal weaknesses in your system and are utterly unforgiving of bad recordings. Bright recordings can sound harsh, but don''''t blame HT for the sound engineer having crap gear. I first tried a Monster interconnect and noticed no improvement over the stock interconnect, then tried the MIT terminator 4 that was worse. If you are thinking of upgrading your source component try one of these first, you may save a bundle of cash. There may be better cables out there but you''''ll to take out a mortgage to get them. I''ve used these in my system for three years. I love their depth. I sent back my Pro-Silways because the TLs seemed more honest and my speakers are a touch treble happy. Strength:

Very smooth laid back sound midrange

Weakness:

Gritty highs, lack bass, cheap connectors

My natural upgrade path went Kimber Hero, Silver Streak, DH Labs, Harmonic Tech Truth link then Por-Silway, Audiotruth, and then Silver Audio. The sound and the price do not always correspond.

The Dh Labs was cheaper then the Hero's and had better bass but the mids were bright. The truth link had better mids but less bass and gritty highs. I got a pair of used Pro-silway to replace the truth link and it corrected much of the problem. But after trying the Silver Audio's I will never go back to copper (I guess the silver plating made the DH Labs bright, because the pure silver was smooth). The Pro-Silway was a big improvement over the truth link. at $250 the truth link is not as good as the 4.0's, but I forked out the extra $50 (over the truth link that is) and got the 6.0's. Another big gain in clarity, soundstaging and liquid mid range.
