I have been waiting to buy a remote with the touch screen feature but because of price and control features I have waited but I can say that this remote is the one that I was looking for. I have been programming it with the special features for home theater settings (front, rear, sound fields) etc... and it really is easy to use. The pre- programmed codes handle all the easy stuff and you can configure and name the keys any way you like. The backlight is plenty bright, it is a soft idiglo blue and there are also contrast settings. The time of the light can be set and you can also turn on/off the feature of auto light when the screen is touched. I cannot say enough good things about this remote. For a 118 $ it is worth every penny. It also fits the hand quite well for it''s size, although it is the size of a cd case (actually larger). Just buy it, you won''t be disappointed.
