Strength:

Great picture quality, great color, bright display, will blow you away when watching a DVD or PS2 game hooked up with an HD component cable. Big screen, and you can view it from any angle, set has a viewing angle adjustment. Much better than having a 52" HD Projection set that you can only see head on with the lights out. TV has every hookup connection style you can think of 2 HD hookups, S-video, 3 or 4 component cable hookups, you name it.

Weakness:

Just bought a 2003 model Toshiba 27" PureFlat TV which has much better built in Speakers. You must own a good home theatre sound system, don't plan on using these speakers. 215lbs is a metric ton to the ordinary man, must have a good TV stand. At $1800, its about what you'd expect to pay for a set this size, has dropped to $1600 this year though for current model.

Great TV, would have loved a Plasma Screen but those are only for the wealthy right now. Shopped for a month or so before making final decision. Very happy with product, can't wait to eventually put an HD signal into it. Weighs a ton (215lbs), have some help lifting it and don't plan on moving it frequently.
