Strength:

PQ, Audio, usability. Virtually dummy proof in the realm of aspect ratio settings. Nobody watches s t r e t c h e d imgaes on this set.

Weakness:

sometimes the lack of an aspect mode button is a pain, but as said before, the TV itself does a good job automatically.

Great TV. I use it for Voom HD sattellite via DVI, OTA analog, and DVD via component. PQ is awesome, OTA analog actually looks WAY better than cable TV, hence I ditched cable. OTA digital looks fantastic via both DVI and Component. Bought this since they were clearing it at BB. Was also looking at the 16:9 30" tube WEGA, but decided on this since I could get virtually the same size widescreen image as letterbox on this 4:3 set without cheating my kids out on their 4:3 material. Audio subsystem is fantastic for being built in... Built-in sub makes a world of difference. It takes care of aspect ratio modes all automagically. Detects the incoming signal and letterboxes as needed. 4:3 stays 4:3, 16:9 stays 16:9.

I bought this TV the other day from Circuit City. It looks great with a progressive scan DVD player, but looks TERRIBLE with a satellite signal. There is a lot of pixelated noise when there is text or objects moving on the screen. Looks like a compressed mpeg file. Wouldn't reccommend this TV unless you are going High Def. Steve
