Strength:

HD!! Accurate coloring. Very sharp picture in digital reception. 4 different viewing modes (normal, zoom, wide zoom, full) Programmable remote

Weakness:

Weight and size. (it's a tube so what do you expect right?) A little fuzzy in analog mode. DVD's sometimes don't look so sharp.

At first I was very disappointed with this tv because all the basic channels were looking like complete crap. Then I realized the analog channels are supposed to look at lot worse when you have a digital cable box. My Digital channels were definitely pretty sharp looking but it wasn't until I signed up for HD reception that I realized what I was missing out on. This tv is as good as they get with HD reception. It was built to perform for HD and it does beautifully. The picture is very sharp and crisp. The colors are very accurate. Cosmetically I liked the grey XBR colored casing but my wife liked the silver but overall it still looks pretty slick with the widescreen look. I still need to purchase the original stand which will cost me over $250.
