Strength:

Great picture (Trinitron), very reliable, SVideo input.

Weakness:

Lousy built-in speakers, limited number of A/V inputs, limited to a laughable 12 (!) channel captions...

In the nearly 4 years I had this television, it has never failed in showing solid, clean pictures (even using analog cable). It has a decent remote (though I don't use it anymore - I use my receiver's universal one) and I enjoy the SVideo input from my receiver/DVD. The auxiliary A/V input on the front panel are nice, but I would take them out in favor of extra A/V connectors in the back.

I barely used the lousy built-in stereo speakers and I still can't understand why they limited the number of programmable channel captions to 12... I mean, I have over 40 channels and I can't even label the third of them.

All in all, this television was a great buy. It was a little expensive at the time but it's still performing very nicely. And none of the quirks I mentioned above really matter anyway (I never use the built-in speakers and my video switching DD/DTS receiver solves the problem of limited A/V inputs).
