Great picture, good value, S and component inputs, lots of features

Front heavy, poor owners manual.

Compared with Toshiba cinema series, Phillips. Better picture, better value. Picture was slightly warm at first but after a month or so cooled down and color balance is very good now. Has 2 S video and a front rca input plus one component input. Two tuner PIP. Audio settings include SRS (enhanced surround), Dynamic sound emphasis (expander) Equal sound (compressor), speaker on/off, bass, treble, balance. Internal speakers ok, but outboard receiver recommended. Owners manual poor but Sharp's E-mail tech support excellent.

Price, Features, Good Picture

I got this TV for only $650 on demo. The one I have is actually the 36K-X2000 which has a gemstar guide but otherwise is the same as the 36L-X2000. It is the flagship for the sharp SDTV tvs. The picture is downright excellent. I use the component inputs with a sony DVD and I can't believe the picture I got for only $650. I was about to pay over $1300 for a 36 inch before I found this one. This is definenly one of the best values out there is you can find one.
