Strength:

picture, price, price, price and, oh ya I almost fogot PRICE.

Weakness:

heavy, but what the heck, once in place I'm on moving it.

After reading reviews I had to get this set. Just to hold me over until price drops on flat panel sets. Purchased my set at Expo elect. in Ledgewood NJ. They have them on sale this week ( 1-18-04 thru 1-24-04). Picture is very good with DVD, I do not watch broadcast TV so I can't comment on that. For 359.10 I dare you to find a better set in todays market. Get them while you can and get them on the cheap!

Strength:

Price among the other 36" TVs

Weakness:

No component input, deformed widescreen presentation, manufacturing quality

I got this from Best Buy for an upgrade to my existing 27" TV. The price was the factor to choose this TV (I had a Sharp TV previously a 19" model and was perfect) But when I got home and sit down to watch some DVDs, realized that widescreen presentations were deformed because of the TV tube! There was a 1.5 CM height difference between the sides and the middlke of the screen. In other words widescreen black bors at the top and the botton were not parallel because the tube was so round. Also tube was placed tilted to the screen! Thank got I got it from Best Buy, return and exchange was not a problem.
In short, if you really really need to get this cheap TV get it otherwise spend 100$ more and you will be happy for ever.

Strength:

Good Picture Quality - Easy to set up - Audio qaulity is average but do not use that feature since audio is controled
throught HTS.

Weakness:

No S-Video input but at this price can't complain

Good picture quality, average sound quality ( no bass/treble ) control for audio portion of TV. Only downfall is no S-Video input but for the price paid cannot complain. For a basic 36" monitor used in a HTS set up this TV works great. If you are connectin or plan to upgrade to HDTS I would recommend a differnt set for basic cable/Sat hook up and DVD viewing this set will do a great job. Good bang for the buck.
