Strength:

flesh tone ,blue & red color matching options, lots of inputs,2-t.pip,facinating detailed picture, the sound hits all the highs and lows.

Weakness:

too heavy

i got much more than I bargained for with this t.v.set all the many options are well worth the 488.88 it cost me.and this isint just any other t.v. either I like it so much better than all the rest of t.v.''s ive seen, and even has better sound than some recievers ive seen.the sharp t.v.''s from this model lx-2000 up are the best on the market.probably worth 800.00 if anything...

Bought this set after reading a tremendously positive review of the s400 model. I am extremely disapointed by this set and would return it if I could. It can't hold the black level constant. For example if you have a shot with the foreground subject with a light backround and something dark in the backround enters, the whole brightness is changed. It can be terribly annoying, almost a strobing effect. I had it taken in for repairs twice, the first said they had watched it for a week and couldn't see a problem. The second shop had the set for almost 3 weeks and said they had fixed it. Nothing was fixed. It isn't source related. I've tried every input source available from dvd to antenna. It isn't as noticable on letterboxed films because the black level is held relatively constant by the black bars but anything full frame exhibits the flaw. It isn't just this set, I've seen it on several other tvs of the same model. The $300 25 inch Sanyo my dad has does not have the problem. I've even adjusted the set with Video Essentials with no luck. Do not buy this tv! I'm considering selling it for $400 just to get the loathsome thing out of my house!

I found this TV for 799.00 at 800.com with no shipping charge, quite a bonus for such a heavy, large item. This TV has been nothing but flawless since I received it. It has loads of features, DVDs look incredible. It is easy to adjust settings, and it does have a nice remote, even though I don't need it. A good universal remote can run this TV (except for probably the PIP). I have found no drawbacks so far, and I have had the television for 3 months. I fully recommend it.
