Strength:

S-video, RCA inputs in front and back, RCA outputs in back, Nice menu selection, Good Audio options.

Weakness:

Well, i had this tv for 3 years, in the same entertainment center with the same speakers that are video shielded. Well, one day the whole set became discolored. Had it degaused, and in a few days it got magnitized again. Took it back, had a shop work on it only for them to tell me that the "mask" was falling and eventually the tv would be as much use as an automan, great. Not to pleased with Panasonic, especially after reading these articles with the SAME problem.

I bought a Panasonic 32' inch screen tv, had alot of great features, the controller was really user friendly. Menu access easy to understand, with many options to play around with. Also what was nice was the audio option, you can either have tv speakers on, or set it to fixed audio out, (if hooked up to a reciever), or variable audio out, (again hooked up to a reciever but you are able to control volume of the reciever by turning up the volume on your tv) Was a really nice product.

Strength:

picture, features, remote, av inputs

Weakness:

none so far

Thank god havent run into the other problems reviewers here have posted. This set TOTALLY blows away the Toshiba I originally got. That set (finally confirmed by tech) had some problems, not only with picture, but tuner as well. The 34 has a great, colorful, bright picture, but well balanced. Also well balanced between different cable stations, something the Toshiba could not do with same cable feed. I love the extra av inputs, especially the front as Im a game player also. But I am picky with a TV picture, and so far I am very pleased. Bonus is the two tuner pip, but I will use it Im sure. The remote will control every HT component I have which is cool. I didnt have much luck in getting a final set, but at this point this is the one, and I will update with furthur experience. Maybe some modifications were made after these reviewers bought thiers, I dont know.

Strength:

Excellent picture. Dark tube. Good sound.

Weakness:

None yet.

Excellent TV. I have experience none of the problems mentioned in the other reviews. The image is crisp and clean with cable, DVD, VCR, everything. One thing that totally surprised me is the sound! Excellent for TV speakers!
I recommend it if you want to buy a good TV but not spend too much money since you'll probably be replacing it with an HDTV in the next few years.
For the record, my friend has the same TV but the previous year's model and also has no problems with it.

Strength:

None that I can think of

Weakness:

Picture is bad

Although I can not completely agree with the other reviews posted here, I will recommend that anyone looking at this TV quickly starting checking out other models.

Panasonic's 32" models such as this one, and even some of the SF36 units, consistently exhibit a horrible discoloration in the upper left corner of the screen. This has happened on two TVs that I have owned (I stupidly did a simmple exchange, rather than looking for a different TV), and I have read numerous reports on the web describing the same problem. Additionally, my unit has a significant moire problem in the lower, extreme left and right edges of the screen. Panasonic tech support has been pretty useless, even going so far to say that the problems were due to my speakers (which, by the way, are shielded, and are all at least 1.5 feet from the screen).

Strength:

TV's picture was good, except for screen discoloration at the right hand side and some white lines that came in and out around the edges.

Weakness:

This TV lasted less than 4 years!!! I took in for repairs at a Panasonic authorized repair shop after the TV started taking long amounts of time to warm up and then it just quit coming on. Repair shop fixed 3 weeks later for $200.00 and got it home and did the same thing, only this time not repairable. Currently going round and round with Panasonic for answers to why a $600.00+ purchase would only last this long and then have to be thrown away. Moral of story is pay the extra money and buy Sony or even RCA that will last. I will not purchase Panasonic anything from now on out.

I purchased the TV less than 4 years ago, I got lucky at the time of the purchase when the TV on sale was not in stock, they up graded my purchase to a Panasonic CT32G22. For the money at the time it looked like a good deal. You get what you pay for!!!!

Weakness:

Picture Settings

I usually have bad luck when it comes to the quality of TV's that I have purchased in the past, but this TV has blown me away with the picture. My father owns several Mitsubishi TV's and I honestly believe that I get as good if not better of a picture than he receives on any one that he owns. If you ask him, he won't admit it. The sound is awesome, as all owners may know the volume goes up to 61 but I have never had the sound above 15, albiet I live in an apartment, but setting the volume to 15 receives alot of pounding on the floor from my neighbors. Panasonic has always rated really high and before I purchased mine I did a little research and was rated the best 32" TV for under $1000. I got lucky, Best Buy had the regular price at $799 marked down to $649 and I had a coupon for 20% off any item in the store (credit card discount)so I actually paid about $625 after taxes. Best buy I think I have ever received on any product. O.K., setting the picture as to how I wanted, took me about an hour (only downside)but after I got it where I wanted it, Whoa!!!

This is the worst TV I ever had. I could see scanning lines and hanging dots from 14 feet away even when using the best source - DVDs. This TV is a disgrace to the Panasonic name. Don't say you were not warned.

Strength:

Price, 2 A/V inputs, Digital Comb Filter

Weakness:

had to really work in the settings - especially color and presets from the factory

I shopped a lot for 32" TV's and am generally satisfied with the product. Only have had for two days. This is the latest upgrade in recent months. I have since upgraded my entire system.
Products include:
Marantz-SR7000
Toshiba M661 Stereo VCR (will be upgrading to DVD next)
Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2000 Digital/Analog cable box
Paradigm CC 170 (Center)
Paradigm Titans (L/R)
Paradigm Atoms (Surround)
Paradigm PS1000 (Subwoofer)
Tributaries Video cables
AudioQuest Speaker cable

For anyone who wants an upgrade to an overall nice 32" television, I would recommend this product. This replaced 1993 model RCA, yuck. I read other reviews about discoloration in the in corners of this tv, and I have not expereinced any yet. The weaknesses is the settings, biggest frustration getting it right, but hopefully with more time viewing it will work itself out. Paid $725 at Circuit City in SC. I can't wait for HDTV

Strength:

Large picture

Weakness:

Not built to last

The Panasonic ct-3269s TV that I have. Started showing yellow and purple color in the top right corner after 10 weeks. The repair tech can't fix it. Now it has to go to another shop. The set is going to be in the shop more that it is going to be in my house. I would not buy Panasonic again.
