Since it just quit working again, I'd say NONE. But when it did work it had a nice clear picture.

Panasonic customer service said that at 1 year 25 days I was "well beyond the end of my warranty", too bad. Case #11577583

BUYER'S BEWARE: I purchased the unit April 2001, and was satisfied for one year and 25 days when it would not turn on. Had the horizontal circuit repaired at an authorized dealer with Panasonic replacement parts for $134, and today, 4 days later, it went out again. DO NOT BUY THIS TV!

Great clean picture and solid sound.

Wish it had a 16:9 mode, but it still looks awesome without it.

This TV hands down beats the comprable sony model in terms of audio output, color matching and clarity of the onscreen video. For the price this TV is very hard to beat, I highly recommend this tv to anyone who can squeeze $600 out of their budget for an awesome 27" TV.

Great picture, lost of inputs

Remote, too heavy for one person to carry!!!

I auditioned several 27 inch televisions under $600 but could not find a better one than the Panasonic 27SX10. Has lots of inputs for satellite, dvd, vcr, and a Playstation. I originally wanted the Sony Wega, but a side by side comparison proved that Panasonic had the better picture and for less $$$.

Heavy! Not a one person set to carry!

Well, I have it finally! A new tv! It took me about two months to decide on the Panasonic. I constantly kept comparing the Sony Wega against the Panasonic. I concluded that the Panasonic picture just looked more vivid. It had depth and life to the picture. The Sony has more features such as the 16:9 enhancement mode. But it wasn't enough to sway me towards the Wega. I simply felt the picture was richer on the Panasonic. I also prefered the design of the Panasonic better. The top of the tv has 7.5 inches compared to only 5 or 4" when you consider the top mounted buttons on the Wega. My center speaker is 8" deep so the Panasonic is perfect. If you prefer a deeper richer picture that shows details well; the Panasonic is the one. It's Heavy but so is the Wega. You will love this set. Just nmake sure you compare beside the Wega with both settings at the center. Then you decide! It's cheaper than the Wega too:)

I actually own the CT-27SX11. This TV is a wonderful buy. For starters, if you get a chance preview this television beside its Wega counterpart and you'll see the differences immediately. The scan lines on the Wega stand out while you can barely notice them on the Panasonic.
I calibrated the picture using the Avia disc and was able to get an incredible picture when coupled with the Denon DVM-4800 through the component inputs. As stated above however this television tends to lack in blue unless adjusted properly and pushes red to the tune of about 25%. To get the red to normal levels you have to turn the color setting almost all the way down. I found it easier to find a happy medium between the two.
Out of the box this TV's picture will please most people. However, the default contrast setting is maxed out (very bad) I recommend that everyone invest in the Avia disc or something similar to calibrate their equipment. The difference is night and day.
Overall this TV is wonderful and I'm completely satisfied with its performance. Consumer reports also rates Panasonic televisions to be one of the most reliable on the market. If you're looking for a 27" TV... BUY THIS ONE!!!!

seems extremely sensitive to electro-magnetic interference.

i have had real problems with the units sensitivity to emi. it's extremely heavy which is a problem since the televisions are on mobile carts. overall the picture quality is good. i wish i had known about the emi problem before i purchased 4 of these.

Best 27" picture on the market

Sensitive to placement in room.

I bought the Panasonic as the 27" Toshiba I had purchased had an unrepairable problem. Initially, the TV (Panasonic) had a picture that was off-centre and tilted from left to right. It turns out that a Mission 753 speaker I had temporarily stored behind the TV caused the problem. Once the speaker was moved, the picture was perfect. Absolutely perfect.

I have two words with respect to other comparable TVs: Sony Schmoany.

Very narrow range on the remote, geometry gets thrown off on bright scenes in the upper corners. No PIP. Red power light on the front of the TV. WTF for? If it's on you see a picture yes? LOL :-P

This set is not the light. While I didn't quite struggle with it, you are not snatching this bad boy right out of the box. My 27" superflat from 5 years ago is considerably lighter. DVD through the component or any input is simply awesome! Satellite is wonderful as well. I do prefer some of the crappier channels on my superflat over the TAU. If the channel is showing a high quality image it looks wonderful, the lower quality channels or programming is not helped by the comb filter. It's a pretty strange effect, but one that I noticed on the WEGA's as well. My computer looks great on this as well! The sound will not rattle your chest but it is clear and coherent. If you are reading this you probably never watch movies through a televisions built in speakers so I guess it doesn't matter. :-D I highly recommend this set to anybody looking for WEGA quality (imo better quality) at a much lower price and an extra S-video input.

Great Picture, Lots of inputs, nice sleek look.

Inability to display geometric shapes properly (especially anything with vertical lines) and its HEAVY for a 27 incher.

Being a self sufficient college student out looking for a good tv at a good price, I began auditioning several TVs to go into my living room. I looked at both the Sony KV-27FS12 and the Panasonic. I decided on the Panasonic because I liked the sleekness of the unit as well as the fact that the Sony had more pronounced scan lines. I setup the TV using the AVIA disc upon bringing it home after setting the geometric correction to -5 in the setup menu to get that damned horizontal line horizontal. The picture on this TV is fantastic. However while calibrating, I noticed that some of the vertical lines near the left and right of the cabinet had some curvature. Even with all the settings at their minimum value I couldn't get these lines straight. I went to my X-Men dvd which has the THX Optimode tests and and went to the Monitor Check test (Circle and Rectangle test) and well, the lines weren't straight. I went back to Best Buy and tried the tests on the display Panasonic as well as the Sony. Both failed though I must admit the Sony was a little better. Well I guess its time to put that 4 year In home Service plan to work. (God I would hate to bring the tv anywhere) Overall the TV is fantastic. It has lots of inputs and the picture is great. Great TV for the price.

Auto settings are way out of whack. Sound lacks punch.

Overall, a terrific picture but I had to make several video adjustments to get it that way. Color is cranked down to a 4 (out of about 40) just to get rid of glowing reds and oranges. Picture exhibits an odd problem - straight lines curve downward from the center. To get an idea of what this looks like, a letterbox 'box' is not square - it has a rainbow like arch to it (not that severe but definitely noticeable). Called Panasonic and a tech was out within 2 days. Said he never saw anything like it and wouldn't even try to adjust it out. He's bringing his supervisor out to see it this week. I hate the hassle of shipping it back for a replacement (instead of returning it for another type/brand) but it might be worth it because the picture is that good.
