Some glare at night

We have had this TV for about 4 months so far. It has been excellent in all aspects. We use it a lot for DVDs through the component inputs and the picture quality and definition are excellent. Shrek was a joy to watch on this TV. The 3-line digital comb filter seems to give this TV a much cleaner picture than the lower level Panasonic G6. My wife and I preferred the picture to the similarly priced JVC AV-27D202. I also did not like the extra wide box on the JVC to house the full-length speakers, which actually are getting less power than the Panasonic. Since we have a HT setup, the TV speakers are not even used, so I can not give a fair comment on them. I just knew I didn't want the big JVC box when I wasn't even going to use the TV speakers.

I found the Toshiba 27A41 and Sony KV27S42 also fell short of the Panasonic D11 picture quality with the Panasonic's only problem being some glare at night when lights in adjacent rooms are on. But this is always a problem with non-flat screen TVs and the JVC had even more glare!

I do not yet know what the long-term life span of this TV is going to be yet, but so far it has been impressive and done everything we have asked of it. I would definitely recommend this TV to others.
