Strength:

GREAT PICTURE, the 3-line digital comb filter really does it's job. DVD's look AWESOME on this TV. A feature that tells you the program is currently playing on the channel you just turned to. The remote works for her DVD player and VCR also! Great warranty!

Weakness:

Not awesome sound, she didn't have room for a TV with better speakers. Hooked it up to stereo, which one should do anyway!

My girlfriend needed a TV that fit into her entertainment center. A 27" non flat screen fit the bill perfectly. I shopped around everywhere and all the 27" sets with ALL the good features were $300. So I was at CC last and asked them why I should by it there. The guy went down $20 and I bought it. Paid for the TAX! Also, JVC has a full YEAR warranty on parts AND labor. All other brands seem to have only 3 months on labor and 1 year on parts. So using my platinum card. She has a FULL 2 YEAR WARRANTY on this TV!!

Strength:

Excellent Picture 3-Line Digital Comb Filter Hyperscan Channel Very Good Price

Weakness:

None

I compared this set to the Sony and Toshibia and thought that the picture quality was better than both. On DVDs, the picture quality is excellent, just as good as a flat screen TV, but a lot cheaper. The TV's speakers give a surround sound-like effect. This set has a 3-Line Digital Comb Filter. It also has Standard, Dynamic, and Theater mode settings. The Hyperscan Channel feature is also an added plus. All in all, you can't go wrong with this set for it's price and features.
