nothing yet

This TV has been great. We had a phillips that we took back because the hookups on the back broke off, and we upgraded to this JVC. The picture is incredible. The component in on the back creates a beautiful DVD picture. The sound is great. I have not had any sounds come from it other than that of the speakers.

Strength:

Good picture

Weakness:

Hard to calibrate, That damn humming sound.

Television does indeed have a buzzing, or low frequency hum sound. This is due to the casing around the picture has a crack in it or the tunering may have to be resodered. The reason I know this, you may ask. I bought a TV back in the 80's an RCA (First Stereo TV). It had the same problem with the same solution.

Weakness:

Goddamn buzzing sound, like a damn motor is running in the back. Cheap remote.

This tube has good looks, but a constant buzzing sound that is damn annoying. It's so annoying that I'm going to return it. I don't recommend this t.v. The remote is also made of cheap plastic. You definitely get what you pay for. Don't be fool by the looks and price, underneath all that are crappy parts, which explains it's 72lb. weight. Save yourself the trouble go with Sony or Panasonic. No wonder no one buys American. JVC = Crap
