nice picture, great price, PIP and feature loaded

When connected to Satellite the commercials lose sync and the picture cuts in and out. Assume problem in JVC unit because doesn't happen to other sets we own.

Nice unit. Will take set in with 2 year full replacement guarentee and get another AV-27950

Quit after 3 years of use!

I purchased this unit because I have other JVC equipment. It worked fine for 3 years (completely uneventfull) then about 2 weeks ago the picture went out. Haven't taken it in for fear of how much it will cost to fix. I've had problems with a JVC 884 receiver and the authorized service people were no help and now the warranty is up (just like the TV). I have no desire to buy more JVC equipment, but probably will because I have other JVC and the 'link' works well.

I have heard nothing but good things about this TV. I'm really ticked that it quit after only 3 years. I had a 19" Sears TV for 11 years and as far as I know it still works fine (my father has it now).

I had a Panasonic VCR and it was a piece of junk. Now I have a list of brands I won't buy in the future (JVC & Panasonic).

Unfortunately, I think we're all getting screwed when we buy electronics these days. It's just a matter of time. Don't fear the reaper.

The JVC AV27950 is a great t.v. It has good sound quality An "S" video and PIP all at a low price. The picture is also great. 5 stars for the price. 4 stars for the quality.

Great set for the money. Very good picture

We bought this set on Consumer Report's recommendation and have been very happy ever since. The PIP is easy to use. Some good flexibility in setup for picture and sound. I think the sound is good for a smaller set as well. The picture is good. Have a Panasonic DVD hooked into the S-Video input and the picture is excellent. Don't have any of the pink bleeds we did with the Mitsubishi. Very happy overall.
