Strength:

Dual Composite in, one front mounted, one rear. Stereo, NOT MONO.

Weakness:

Has trouble holding black level. Slight flicker.

I've purchased JVC TV's in the past and have had a terrific experience with them. When looking for a TV for my bedroom I did some research and discovered this 20" JVC. It met my minimum requiremets of composite in/outs (Hey it's for my bedroom not my home theater).

The first several months with the unit were fine, no problems. Then little by little I began to notice a very slight flickering in the black level as a I watched DVD's on the unit. At first I thought it was the DVD player, but after putting a different player on the unit the flicker was still there. Since both players were using the composite in, I decided to grab the PS2 and run a DVD through an RF converter and the coax connection. Yep, you guessed it still flickers.

Please note the flicker is slight, but once you see it, you see it all the time.

My advice pay the extra money and get a Toshiba or Sony if you want a small-mid sized TV.
