Picture quality, Inputs and outputs, good looking overall unit.

The only weakness I found is that the channel Auto Progam feature only works on the Cable and Antenna inputs and not on the HDMI input. You gotta use the HDMI connection from your cable box if you want the best picture.

I finally upgraded to an LCD flat panel widescreen TV from my Hitachi 32 HD tube model. Obviously the difference is stagering. The Sony KDL-40XBR3 is a beautiful piece of equipment. So far I love it. The picture quality is excellent and the HD images are unbelievable. This unit has all the inputs and outputs you need including the 3 HDMI ports. It was easy to setup and its actually easy to move around since it isnt very heavy.
