On December 18, 2008, we purchased a 32" RCA Flat screen TV, model # L32HD3
2D. On Sunday, May 17, 2009 the picture tube went out. Once the TV "cooled off" it came back on. Then it went off permanently. We have only had this TV for 5 months. We took it back to Walmart only to find that they only take returns or exchanges for 90 day. We were told to contact RCA directly. We contacted RCA and they advised us that we should take the TV to an authorized service agent, which we did and was informed that RCA did not cover the labor. They cover the oart "if" they could find i t because our model is now discontinued. This just isn't right. The TV is only 5 months old and it broke down and WE have to pay the labor charges. I will take this much further. It's the principal and NOT the amount of money that we paid for the TV. I will NEVER buy an Amercian brand electronics item again!!! I am REALLY surpirsed at how many compliants RCA has against them for their product and the way they treat their customers.
