This is a fantastic plasma television. It is a high end Panasonic television with pixel shift to prevent burn in and a coating to reduce glare. I bought it on sale for 1400.00 when it first came out selling at 2400.00 in many electronic stores. Colors are vivid, bright and detailed. Even HD from Direct TV looks fantastic. Cnet.com has all the 300 dollar settings to make this television shine for free.
Now days this set has been eclipsed by the G10 series which I plan to purchase and move this set into my bedroom. If you can find one of these sets for 650. buy it you won't be disappointed.
