Panasonic TC-32LX60 32 in. LCD Television Flat Panel Televisions

TC-32LX60 32 in. LCD Television

A great LCD TV picture needs lots of two things: pixels and video processing power. Panasonic's 32" TC-32LX60 aces both of those requirements. Its high pixel count (1366 x 768) is more typical for a 50" plasma - on this smaller screen, the result is pinpoint-sharp detail. Panasonic's advanced color processing technology applies color correction on the fly, reproducing skin tones and other shades with greater realism. The advanced LCD AI enhances picture contrast by increasing the gradation steps according to the displayed scene. Increased steps of gradation in white areas articulate minute differences for a realistic picture. Likewise, increased steps of gradation in dark areas enhance the sharpness and crispness in blacks. resulting in improved contrast and superior picture quality.

Strength:

Overall picrture quality, style, ease in set up, excellent remote logic.....stability

Weakness:

Limited digital audio outputs, just optical.

Desided on an LCD because of size and weight....have not regreted it in anyway. Chose Panasonic over other models that were also top rate because of style. Feel added performace bonus is a plus.

Strength:

picture clarity , color accuracy, channel changing speed , ease of operation , and being able to use just the tv remote to control all functions of the cable box and tv

Weakness:

none

I spent a very good amount of time over 5 months of research on the internet and at the usual box stores in the area before I came to my conclusive decision. I don't take dropping a grand very lightly even if it is on the small end comparitively speaking. This LCD in my opinion gives you the biggest bang for your buck as well as the best dependibility. I've owned a pany 36" crt for 3 years and have loved it but I got to say this LCD is winning me over. I wasn't sure how I would like the 16:9 as compared to the 4:3 aspect but I now prefer it. The choices you have to size the picture give you a broad range of viewing. The control over the picture with respect to color and brightness is superb. I hesitated buying an LCD because I thought the backlighting would be too harsh but I was wrong. The picture is every bit as natural as a plasma and a lot less sentive to factors of durability. Bottom line is I really love this TV and the reasonable price and insurance I got from onecall make it even better. The reviews are right, this is an awsome buy .
