I've replaced three lamp replacement units in the two and a half years that I've owned the television. I recently purchased a lamp replacement unit in December 09 and the part malfunctioned in less that 2 months. Thankfully, there was a 90-day warranty on the part. However, I had to pay for shipping and handling. I find myself contemplating how long will the current lamp replacement unit last. I paid over $1000 for the projection television back in 2007, and I feel as though I've put more money into replacing the lamp unit than I've paid for the television. I'm at wits end. I've lost my patience with having to replace the lamp replacement unit because the units are costly. If you're considering purchasing a toshiba wide screen hdtv please consider all of your options and review consumer satisfaction reports before purchasing this product.
