Strength:

Very good picture, especially in dim rooms Very good sound for TV speakers Excellent gaming performance weighs only 70 pounds HDMI connector cable card support end user replaceable light bulb Immune to burn in from gaming

Weakness:

Blacks are a little washed out in bright rooms no DVI connector no sub woofer out connector slow to change sources (wished it used a list for changing sources like my 51" Toshiba rear projection crt) remote not backlit takes 10 sec to shut off (all LCD TVs do) small amt of fan whine light bulb needs replacing every 2 years ($200)

My dad bought this TV as a 2nd TV for the den. He got an extremely good deal since the owner of the store was a friend. This TV has mostly been regulatedt to video games, and kareoke duties, with occasional HDTV and reg cable viewings. It's picture quality with HDTV, and DVD is very good, especially if you dim the lights down, or keep a backlight behind the TV. Where it really shines is with video games, especially with a component video connection. Best results will be had when you set your game console, or dvd player to 720p. The sound from this TV is also very good for TV speakers. I haven't had a chance to purchase and setup a HT sound system yet. But the TV's built in speakers are doing a very good job, especially with reverb from the xbox. The reverbs make cave, and room echoes from kotor 2 very convincing.
