Strength:

Size, ease of use, picture quality

Weakness:

Not digital, horrible screen protector (Super Shield)

WE bought this tv @ TheBrick here in town, and I really like it. It is easy enough that my 6 year olfd call put on PokeMon, but technical enough so that my wife needs to ask for help! Love it.. you should sit @ least 10' back though... I am using it only 7-8' back and the size of the tv, means your head has to follow the action... :-)

Strength:

Picture quality, the best part the Guide+Plus Gold. That's a must to see what's going on all those channels. Also the ability of the TV to control the cable box & vcr,so you don't lose the guide+plus gold ROCKS!

Weakness:

composite inputs none

I think this the best projection TV for the money people could buy. The picture quality is really amazing, but if get really picky you can tell it ain't top of the line(got get really picky). The difference from hitachi and sony ain't able to tell. Also I am comparing a 55" hitachi and a 46" sony, which means less notible to tell the dots. Also the 55" compared to the RCA 61", the rca looks like a monster(not even bars have it this big). Good TV speakers(best for projection tv's). Value I give over 5 stars Overall rating 4.85 stars but since I can't I'll give it 5.

Update: Well my TV just celebrated it's 2 year birthday. The picture still looks great. The only problem I have had with the tv just developed recently. The TV doesn't power on that well anymore. I either have to hold down the remote button or the button on the tv for 10secs to get it to switch on or off.

I haven't had it repaired yet to see what was wrong. That doesn't change my thoughts on the unit. I'm still happy that I got it.

Strength:

Great Screen Size, Clear picture

Weakness:

Bought this TV about 9 months ago. I looked around at lots of TV's and this thing looked better then anything else on the market except Sony's. But Sony's cost so damn much. If your looking for a 2nd place tv behind Sony's 1st place TV's then this is it.

When hooked up via S-Video coming from a clean source(DVD, Satellite) the picture quality is fantastic. Very sharp and clear.

Tv is viewable from a very wide angle. Not like most TV's that become too dark to view from an angle. The "too dark" problem on this TV is vertical not horizontal. Th TV stays bright for a wide angle to the sides. But from the floor or standing up it's not as nice. It is optimized for a height that you would be sitting on a couch.

All in all I'm very satisfied. Don't regret it a bit.
