Strength:

Picture quality is amazing. Input options are more than adequate. Resolution exceeds current market requirements so it is future proof. Best bang for the bubk

Weakness:

It is a projector thus bulb replacement is an inevitability.

IMHO this is an excellent HDTV set. The DLP technology makes RPTV's a real option now. It is lightweight, 117 lbs for a 52” set and has a thin foot print only 17” deep. The 1080I picture is astounding as is the 480P. Details are unbelievable; I love 16:9 aspect as well for wide screen movies and HD program material. For the price I could find nothing that could compare. I do wish the 16:9 image had more adjustments to do a better job of normalizing regular 4:3 program material but think that just going to be eth nature of eth beast until more wide screen digital and HD programs are available. The first HD image I watch was the Discovery channel HD and it was a stroll though an outdoor garden. The color and detail were so amazing it gave the illusion the picture had depth or 3d quality to it. I highly recommend this set to anyone who is in the market for an HD projection set.
